@@x3-LSTR-512 Su-35 is a very recent variant revealed in february 2014, based on the Su-37 and the Su-27. The Su-37 however was developed only as a technology demonstrator and never entered the full production stage, only one plane was built in 1991. Most of the Terminator features were applied later to the Su-35, the canards however were only added to the Su-30Mki serving with the Indian Air Force. So i can confirm that's a Su-37 not an Su-35.

@@alexandermendeyev35 Ace Combats 2,4,5 and Zero all used the Su-35 with the canards model. The original development of the 35 was called the Su-27M and entered testing in 1988. During that process (which was also during the dissolving of the Soviet Union) it was renamed to Su-35, and Sukhoi went about it instead to modernize the Su-27 to fill in the void while they were developing the Su-57 by turning it into a multi-role fighter and added new engines, and ditching the canards in favor of the TVC. The final production variant, the Su-35S entered production in 2014, LONG after Project Aces knew about what the final product would be….obviously they were aware of the Su-37 and Su-47 (S-37 was it’s original model number) due to making public appearances whereas not much was public regarding the Su-35’s status other than effectively being an Su-27 with canards.

1. The Su-35 (or Su-37, if you count the canards that magically appeared near the end), and F-22 aren't capable of taking off from a carrier. 2. No fleet commander would be sailing their carrier without an escort flotilla. 3. All those MiG-21s aren't carrying anything that can sink a ship, let alone a carrier. 4. You'd have to fail so hard for an antiquated MiG-21 to get on your six, let alone in a stealth fighter 5. The Su-35 firing a missile while the wingman is ahead risked friendly fire. 6. Flying through the fireball risks smoke getting into the intakes and shutting the engine down mid-flight. So yeah, real life. Not just our real life.

Nice, but... when you know some shit about military aviation, I'd like to say Fox 3 at range that close? You might ask, what did Scarface shot at the bandit, it's a Russian equivalent of AMRAAM which is a mid-long range semi-active radar guided munition might as well known in-game as 4XAA. And in OG AC2, there is no Fox 3, actually there is nothing fancier than the XFA-27 that can launch four Fox 2s. Which means you can't shoot enemy AWAC out of the sky with MiG-31's anti-radar missile (which is true for all AC series, but Russia has those extra long range missiles in its inventory), you can't equip gun pod on MiG-21 or A-10 wings, no quad-launch air-to-air let alone the air-to-ground version, no bomb nor rocket of any kind.
