Ace Combat 2 - Ending [Bad, Normal, Bonus]

Possible Ace Combat 2 endings (PS1):
★ Bad: if the missile was not shot down in the Last Resort mission.
★ Normal: if Z.O.E pilot was not shot down in the Kingpin mission.
★ Bonus: if Z.O.E pilot was shot down in the Kingpin mission and many more were knocked down after that :)

Evil Babai normal ending is when you finish the kingpin mission but you spare that red craft that says Zoe on it The bad ending is when you let the missile go through after the sub Marine fires it.

As a kid when I first beat the game I got the bonus ending thanks to me always trying to clear the map of enemies and I was just vibin to that smooth music, its just so good

I've beat this game a handful of times since I was a kid and I didn't even KNOW there was a normal or a bad ending for the longest time. If you just blow up every enemy you see, it's pretty difficult to miss it. "God has a hard-on for Scarface One, because he kills.. everything he sees."

I got the bad ending because I picked the A-10 to destroy the sub, completely forgotten about having to chase down the missile xD Even at top speed, the missile was soon out of range and I just crash the plane to end the suffering xD

I never knew about the "Normal Ending" until very late, once I got the bad ending because I was shit at MGs, but the normal one was unknown to me until I started reading about the series lore in the late 2000s...

I wonder how Scarface 1 felt after destroying Fortress Intolerance. I'd imagine they'd be proud of besting those unmarked red planes. They probably be somewhat melancholic as well, due to all the destruction caused by the civil war. I wonder if they ever discovered that those red planes were merely apendages of a fledgling combat artificial intelligence, whose makers used the war (and countless other conflicts) to refine and improve it for 20 years until being unleashed out of spiteful hatred for their nation's conquerers.

Like others I beat this game as a child. I was able to get the normal and the extra ending but I never figured out how you were able to get the last 2 missions, so in mission 20 I always shoot down everything. Turns out you need to just kill the ZOE pilot.

You can trigger the bad ending if you play the submarine mission and can’t catch the cruise missile it launches. Probably also if you screw up the Deathstar maneuver in Fighter’s Honor. As for the bonus… sheeze. Secrets on Secrets.

Для получения нормальной концовки просто не нужно уничтожать самолет Z.O.E в миссии KINGPIN.

@@GoodGameWalkthroughs Я кстати просто по настольгии проходил на эмуляторе aircombat. Ну просто проходил, не пытаясь получит концовку определенную. Так вот... Я даже не помню шо это за чудо такое Z.O.E и не знаю как он подсвечен.. Ну как target или как просто цель которая хочет тебя ВБЫТЬ? Кароче я просто так получил концовку normal. аааа чему я удевляюсь это же обычная нормальная концовка:D. О у меня вопрос количевсто открытых самолетов зависит от уровня сложности?

If you had said Assault Horizon or even AC6, I would've somewhat understood that statement, but I would say AC7 is a worthy addition to the Ace Combat Series. AC7's story may not be on the same level as games from the PS2 era, but it's not that bad, especially considering the development story behind AC7, and considering what we got in AH and AC6. The gameplay for AC7 though is amazing, and the DLC missions are some of the best missions in the entire series. With Keiki Kobayashi behind the soundtrack, the music in the game is incredible. All in all, despite the flaws in its story, AC7 is a really great game, and much more than a shadow of the franchise.

@@michaelmurray7199 I think the main issue people have is with AC6's writing. The storytelling is a lot less impactful than those games, and the actual dialogue is really awkward to say the least, and an overall downgrade from what made the PS2 games so great. There's also the fact that it only came out on the XBox 360, while Ace Combat, being a Japanese game, had traditionally been a Playstation title. I don't think people count it as a bad game per se, but as an Ace Combat title, it falls short of the mark.
