PlayStationFan You're not far off. Basically, if I may spoil you on JP AC3's story... This Dision is an AI created by uploading the real Dision's brain into the 'electrosphere' - basically this world's equivalent to the cyberspace. The real Dision died with his girlfriend, Yoko Inoue, who was experimenting that very process I explained before (they termed it "sublimation", and they didn't know it was a success). He basically wanted revenge against everything as a result. The X-49 Rena pilots [dubbed the Night Raven], and Rena herself, is his instrument in this regard. He corrupted her memory with an ENSI connection into her COFFIN (the cockpit system that allows her to control her fighter jet with her brain) before the game started to make sure she obeys him. The problem? In this particular storyline, at the end of the mission "Archnemesis" [2 missions before this], Nemo, the player, accidentally restores her memory, leading her to go berserk and Dision to term you as his last enemy. Keith helps you destroy the Night Raven at the cost of his life to Dision's breakdown in the mission "Memory Error". In this mission, he lost everything he had while questioning who the player is. When he was about to be destroyed, he realizes that the player is... either his grim reaper, or "Simon". "Simon" refers to Simon Orestes Cohen, the Neucom scientist who programmed Nemo to simulate all possible paths to the destruction of the Dision AI. By the way, you can play as the Night Raven, the Geopelia, and Dision's UI-4054 after getting all A's in HARD difficulty in all missions in all paths.

IllusionistsBane And was the most fucked-up situation on the game, you literally killed everyone, even your UPEO partners... The "memory error" mission was like a post-apocalyptic level while fighting on the remains of the Megafloat.

What IllusionistsBane said, and the fact that you were able to peak into Dision's memory and somehow, for one reason or another, start wiping it. Since you play as a silent protagonist, it's sometimes kind of hard to decipher the motivation behind some of your actions beyond just simple manipulation by Simon.

もはやディジョンも主人公も肉体があるわけではないので、アクセスしてデータ転送して入った。アバターが乗ってた機体で、主人公の攻撃によりアバター消失→データ消滅→ディジョン抹消、ということ。
