No, fox one means you've fired a semi-active radar guided missile, fox two indicates a heat seeker, fox 3 means a fire and forget radar-guided air to air missile, and pickle means to drop bombs

Man, I used the F-15S/MTD for this mission, now I love the Fuel Air Explosive bombs. But the AC5 version of the fuel airs were much better (in my opinion)

Dude don't question Ace combat logic. They built rail guns out in the middle of the desert to shoot down an Asteroid and then thought let's build a laser missile base. They also built one giant rail gun in the artic and then made a space ship for shooting fragments. Its Ace combat don't question the logic it's just easier that way.

BKofficer23 in ac4, yes. Irl and in later games: Pickle for bombs Fox 1 for SAAM Fox 2 for Standard heat seekers Fox 3 for self guided radar missiles like XMAA
