I believe fighting the yellow leads to a loss, 1. Yellows have invincibility 2. The timer will run out causing a loss. Edit: from a video, you can apparently beat them, they have unbelievably high HP requiring at least 3-8 times over the payload you have to just kill one. You just need to hack the game to have the missiles you need.

It’s actually possible to kill them. Their health amped up like a million times over. If you can get an unlimited ammo mod, you can do it. Only nothing changes because you know…plot

He started out with an F-4. I think he varies with using an F-14, F-16, F-18, and/or an F-15 in the middle. Nearing the end, he would use the F-22.

I had to sell ALL my planes to buy the f22 for Megalith on my first playthrough. You do not have the f22 this early in the playthrough
