Ace Combat 5 (Emulated) - M21: Solitaire

And thus the adventures of Schrödinger's Squadron begin... kinda. Only one of them's getting his shiny black paint dirty for now. But I gotta say, without being your typical fanboy, I really like the concept of Razgriz. The way they were formed, the emblem, the paint, the very notion of a disavowed squadron.
I wonder exactly who came up with the idea and who designed the paint and the emblem. Was it Nagase, Genette, hell, Harling? Harling had to approve it at least - and "officially" designate them a "presidential squadron" - and it's quite cool of him to embrace the notion of the Demons of Razgriz serving him. Embrace your wild streak, folks.
Oh, and I had to go down to 3x resolution here again, which is even more bizarre considering Closure was just fine on 4x. That just makes no sense. Maybe the fog particles and lightning have that big of an effect? It'd make little sense, but with all the little quirks I've seen, I wouldn't be that surprised.

I loved doing this mission with the F-117, it felt appropriate to fly a stealth fighter in a stealth mission

A short mission. Not a lot happens, but it's short and somewhat unique, so I can forgive it. ACX does this mission a bit better though. Still, it's fun to blaze (hur) through it in the MiG-31M. Leave the Dip and Shit squads in the dust. (Or not considering AI planes cheat sometimes and can somehow catch up with the fastest plane in the game)

Now that's more like it, might as well resolve technical issues when possible, huh? XD I do like Razgriz as a squadron, the off the records squadron aligning itself with no country (Almost sounds like A World With No Boundaries!) and they have a cool paintjob too, simple and yet effective. The mission is pretty cool too, fairly simple but unlike Final Option, it's short (Actually the second-shortest video of your playlist at this time) and you actually feel like you're doing something. instead of just following Pops through the motions.

That's an AN/ALQ-99 jamming pod. It's been in use since the Vietnam War with multiple US electronic warfare aircraft. The fan is a ram air turbine, a fancy term to say it spins by being pushed into the air by the plane, and it serves as a power supply to the jammer.
