Ace Combat 6: Every Day | The Emmeria-Estovakia War

4 years ago, after years of civil war and growing resentment against Emmeria, the Estovakian military invaded Gracemeria, sparking the Emmeria-Estovakia War. This war is the main focus of Ace Combat 6.
Emmeria was providing humanitarian aid to Estovakia after the Ulysses asteroid impact event, as Estovakia was much harder hit than its neighbour. Estovakia plunged into a civil war after the subsequent economic disaster and loss of control by its federal government. The Lyes United Front (LUF) quickly took over the capital, and Emmeria agreed to provide humanitarian aid to the LUF. Unbeknownst to Emmeria, the LUF engaged in a crackdown on opposition. The LUF's main rival, the Eastern Faction, continued to fight the LUF in the civil war and eventually was victorious, establishing a military dictatorship led by "The Generals." Contempt towards Emmeria grew because of the aid provided to the LUF, culminating in the invasion of Emmeria's capital.

Love the detail of how you used Invasion of Gracemeria during the Estavokian offensive and then Liberation of Gracemeria when the tide changed to the Emmerians favor. But what I loved the most is how you timed the main melody of Liberation of Gracemeria to the exact moment that the song is named after.

On April 1, 2016, Emmeria, in fact, won the 2015-16 Anean Continental War over Estovakia on April Fools Day, while Nordennavic maintained neutrality during this crisis. This is what happens when an invading army loses momentum, their enemy could take advantage of it by initiating a counter attack. Just look at what the Emmerians did by counter attacking the Estovakians, they got kicked off of Khesed island, Emmerian forces landed at Ortara and sunk their navy defending the oil fields and the flag ship Scorpio was sunk too, Estovakians counter attacked to push them back to the sea, but it didn’t work because thanks to Garuda team, the REAF and some luck. The rest the of war the Estovakians were on the defense they failed in destroying the emmerian army units at silvat, they did counter the Emmerians at Selumna peaks using jammer aircraft, but they managed to push through, San Loma fell and their navy stationed their wiped out too, lots of Estovakian Ticonderoga aegis cruisers were lost along with the flagship Eques and after that I believe the entirety of the Estovakian navy’s South Sea Fleet was told to stay put at Gracemeria’s Dopylm bay, clearly naval commanders didn’t want to lose the most powerful element of the Estovakian navy which is the South Sea Fleet containing many Cassard class Destroyers, Ticonderoga aegis cruisers, Kirov battle cruisers, one Iowa class battleship and one Nimitz class aircraft carrier which I believe was the flagship of the South Sea Fleet, the aerial fleet was destroyed in a surprise attack by the REAF, Ragno fell, Moloch desert did have a successful counter attack, but it was temporary because of the WMDs being destroyed by Garuda team, gracemeria was under siege while the rest and some of the Estovakian army fled back to estovakia, the Estovakian military left at gracemeria was told to fight to the death, they lost everything! The south sea fleet, along with the air force, their esm aircraft, jammer aircraft, army units, Pasternak and everything. The junta was going to sign a cease fire with the emmerian gov, but dvornik rallied, survivors of strigon team, some troops, some aircraft, and some warships who were still loyal to him, used the chandelier destroy Gracemeria, but Garuda team, the REAF and the Emmerian navy stopped him by destroying the chandelier and dvornik was shot down by talisman, the citizens of Estovakia overthrew the rest of the junta, the new Estovakian gov signed a peace treaty with Emmeria ending the war. And that’s the Emmeria-Estovakia war in a nutshell aka the Anean continental war
