XFA-27 is one of the best options for this mission, its quad-MSTM can take out each of the railguns and ballast tanks in a single salvo. In this mission, the key to success is to destroy certain targets ASAP.

LACM's kick the absolute shit out of the Alicorn too. But you'll probably wipe the ballast tanks out before you can farm the weapons or drones for points. You'll take everything out before it re-submerges once. It makes the S-rank a bit tighter to get with scoring but it should still be fine if you nail enough drones.

I like flying crazy jets, first you see them on a random mission and wish you could have it then later you're fighting it and actually aquire it. I can't remember but it seems some of these on 7 were on some of the old ones, that or just look similar. I would like to have a PC and play that DCL or whatever it's called, an actual jet flying sim and have a flight stick and star citizen to go with.

It’s more like an aircraft carrier that can submerge than a regular submarine. It could probably still vls underwater but you spend the first half of the mission pinging it’s location so it’s compromised and decides to bring out all the weaponry and aircraft it has. Also the captain is a nutcase and likes to flex his railguns.

Even if it wasn’t a warhead that caused it, there was still those 2 nuclear reactors on board. As for how much radiation everyone else was exposed to, it would depend on how deep the Alicorn was when it exploded. Water is a pretty good shielding material. ~10 feet of water will reduce the dose rate of gamma and beta by a factor 10. 20 feet will do it by 100, 30 feet by 1000, and so on.
