Hmmmm, nah. AC3 had a zero gravity mission and we've also flown down the barrels of giant rail guns. A 747 through a canyon isn't beyond the realms of possibility. An RAF crew once flew an Avro Vulcan through the Grand Canyon.

Zero G was fun but not as intense as the Final Mission in the "International" AC3. Chandelier was in 6 (still wish they'd bring that to PSN) but Air Force Delta Strike or a similar title did the dive into the rail gun barrel several years earlier. at least in that title, it was fairly easy to avoid incoming shots.

i guess you haven't played the Electrosphere mission in AC3? this is tame compared to that psychedelic digital insanity. don't keep an eye on your altitude, you could inadvertently slam into the ground/water.

@@epyon302 I don't think he means absurd as in insane but more how absolutely stupid it is. Having an ace fighter pilot hurl your massive Boeing 747 through a tight canyon with plenty of enemies itching to decorate your aircraft with bullet holes.

@98172403 It feels pretty slow compared to anything else in the game, but that's kind of the fun and challenge of it, since it turns like a house. Have to make liberal use of the rudder to keep from yawing into the canyon walls.

Oh? Legacy is just a remake of Ace Combat 2 after all. Found it pretty decent for a handheld. Certainly found it more comfortable to play with the 3DS' circle pad compared to the PSP's analogue nub.
