Ace, I was in jail when you came to Everett WA. Had tickets, costume ready. Painted your face on my little steel mirror, with soap. Sorry brother. It broke my heart. I was gonna wear my astronaut suit. I was dealing with PTSD, wrong meds, and a fellow officer got murdered. I flipped out and pissed off the cops. Charges dropped. No alcohol or drugs involved. Just lost my mind for a knight. I'm glad you played Everett. I live three blocks from the Historic Theatre. Love you Ace. Your band kicks ass. Good Knight🛡️📀🔥 Scotty. Ps...PTSD IS A BITCH. Thats because of these fanbois that these bands become "sensational" no matter what they put out. Like Van Halen, Last album they did with Roth was shit, The few last tracks they did with Hagar and recorded on the double hits album were shit too. But its Eddie,,,

I've been an ace fan for years. I don't normally comment on these sites, but now feel I need to. I've read all the comments some good, some bad! I agree with most of them. Ace Isn't as good as he was, but really, how old is he, give him a break! He's unique, created his own sound, was a major part of kiss, inspired others to play guitar & some are now famous & acknowledge ace as their inspiration! Ace also admits & owns his mistakes, which most don't! If you listen to the stuff he's put out since kiss you'll notice the sound & roots are the same! Kiss changed, ace didn't! I get sick of people picking on him because he's not as good as he was in his 20's. Take a look at yourself! Are you as good as you were? Other comments say he's changed a solo. Well Stevie Ray Vaughan was awesome, but if you look into his playing you'll find he played everything slightly differently depending on his mood! He also never played the same solo twice! Chill out people, it's their music & they're fully entitled to tweak & play with it as they see fit! Just be grateful that people like ace are still creative & give us good music to listen to. Admittedly this recording was done with a phone & not great, but I saw him with this band when they came to Australia. They put on a great show & I definitely got my money's worth! Even though the audio on this is very average, I still enjoyed it! To all the negative people in the comments; You didn't have to watch this. If you did & didn't like it you could've turned it off! You then spent time in comments being nasty. Remember the saying, if you can't say something nice stfup! Regardless of ace being held back by his addictions, he's admitted & owned them & still moving forward. That's awesome, most disappear never to be seen again. Ace is still giving us good stuff! It's easy being an arm chair expert! You get up there at his age & smash out a concert, then we'll judge you for every note you missed! Enough negative stuff. Ace has always been about fun & enjoying the music. He feels it. His music has soul, that's why he doesn't shred. Although on remember me he's pretty quick! We need to see past his faults & appreciate that he's still doing this at a high level! He may not be perfect, but the last time I saw him in Australia I definitely got my money's worth & thoroughly enjoyed his show! Thanks ace! 🎸

I actually got goosebumps when I was walking out of the shoot and saw Ace's Marshall amps and they still had KISS stenciled on the back...what a rush...it was 1987...I was 17....great day....

@@MetalKReactions here's a really funny story from that day...so I'm on the subway at around 8 in the morning and I see this long haired dude with a guitar... gotta be going to the same place as me...so we strike up a conversation...we get to the warehouse and are directed where to go... walking through the place we see a tour bus...dude turns to me and says "Do you think Ace is on the bus?"....me being a cocky kid from a fairly rough part of town says "Well there's only one way to find out" and we walk right up to the bus and I open the door and walk on..( the balls on me right? Hahahaha)... I say "Is Ace here?" And then it happens...Ace wakes up and looks up, and if he wasn't one of the ugliest/creepiest looking people I have ever seen, says in "that" voice "hey Curly!"...my new friend and I lose our shit!! ( Who wouldn't?) And all of a sudden his manager or whatever comes flying out and escorts us off the bus ..we say "is Ace hung over??" He replied "No man!! Ace is CLEAN!!!" And we were like "Yeah right...." It was too funny....we then went to the room where the other hundred or so "Rock Soldiers " were and began our day.... I still remember it like it was yesterday...

@WatchingItBurn5022 жыл бұрын
Running it through a mixer wouldn't do any good since it's a mono recording from a phone or a video camera. What you could do is create 2 separate mono tracks and run each through an equalizer varying slightly the output EQ to create simulated stereo to get a real good sound. Its an extremely clean recording so it could sound amazing if done right.
