Wish he would play the songs at this tempo and as much enthusiasm these days. This line up is better than the band he has today. I still love Ace but it just seems like he isn't as into it anymore. I guess we all get old. Anyway he'll always be my favorite member of Kiss. ❤️

This guitar genius's vibrato is still sublime. Ace picks hard, he arguably was tapping but with his pick 'before' EVH. The money he has wasted due to his substance problems and addictions has robbed Ace of having a bank account that subsequent lesser talented guitarists now boast sadly. He had his second chance with the 'first con job final tour', his per show payment of $50k was massive when calculated over the life of the tour which lasted from 1996 to 2002. That was serious money Ace earned but Stanley-Gene locked him and Peter out of the real money in merchandise. But, both sold off their famous 'faces'. Ace remains one of the most significantly influential guitarists in half a century. His song writing and solo work has been magnificent, and although not really a lead singer he always gives it his all. He will forever remain the ONLY "Spaceman". Thayer is a joke.

Something major happened to degrade Ace's voice between 2006 - this 2012; you can tell by this concert and the way he talks in interviews. Did all those drugs burn his vocal chords? I'm a life-long Ace fan, but he almost seems like an imposter with this 2012 concert.
