I loved Ace's solo stuff during the 80s. In my opinion his stuff was a lot better than most of the stuff KISS was releasing at the same time (after Lick it Up there were just a handful of songs on each of their 80s albums that I enjoyed, most of it not really catching my attention).

Creatures of the Night is my favorite album,cool that Ace stayed with the band for the I love it loud video and promos..Ace easily could of done most of the Creatures solos in my opinion but it is what it is..Hey u forgot about Killers! Ace supposedly is on 1 or 2 of those rhythm tracks per Michael James Jackson

Whaaaaat?.....Bob kulick was the Axé in KILLERS. The new songs in this áre terrific, different sound, hard,metálic. Vinnie Vinnie was the Man that revived kiss beside to Eric Carr. Un that moment Criss AND Frehley we're the gravedigqer of the band

There's about 6 guitar players on Creatures. Having them all in that picture would be rather crowded. Vinnie is on there, Robben Ford plays on at least 1 song, then there's various other session guys.

Gene had an ulterior motive why he called Ace in to do a solo, as Gene always does. Ace didn't mention it here, but he mentioned years ago, after Vinnie was fired, Gene tried to get Ace back in KISS, but he declined, Gene said, "It isn't the same without you, come back." This was a quote I heard from Ace years ago, take it with a grain of salt, if you believe Ace.

I'll never understand why Ace always acts like his biggest hit wasn't a cover song! He constantly acts like he wrote "New York Groove" but it's a cover of an already hit song.

Read between what’s said..he says he has a attention deficiency. He was going to,but didn’t fully say that Gene and Paul ran the band...he just played....Peter ...same. Sick of all the G &P haters, just because they love Ace or Pete. Truth is that in the late 70s Ace and Peter were screw ups. Ace was sometimes too out of it to pick up a guitar at the recording studio. Both Ace and Peter gots some radio success , it fueled their drug affected egos, they thought were bigger than Kiss....wrong: Ace even admits that he would have been impossible to be around..He was the perfect person for Kiss during those initial years, Those early videos at Cobo Hall and Tokyo were just gold: I’m so pleased that Ace is in a good place lately. I only wish him good luck and good health.

money certainly doesn't define musical creativity, even Gene would agree to that - Ace is saying that he feels like he creates better without KISS, but he'd certainly agree that there's more money for him when he plays with KISS

Ace totally sidestepped the Peter Criss question (RE: Trouble Walkin'). Ace is dumb as a fox on some of these questions. He plays the victim and pleads ignorance really well, but he knows damn well what he knows and what he's willing to say.
