The reason Luffy was split was, because he was facing BACKWARDS when Ussop said that. Luffy did in fact go 'Left', HIS left, while facing backwards. Really it's everyone else's fault for not watching him. Why is he, the Captain, last?

I think I have heard people say that in an interview Oda has stated that the One Piece is not some metaphor. It is a physical thing, not 'the real treasure was the friends we made along the way' sort of thing. Whether or not it is treasure remains to be seen. Also I have heard that beard in japanese translates to just facial hair or something like that. So maybe the localizers should have renamed him White Mustache, though that does not roll off the tongue nearly as well.

Dugongs are cool in real life. There is a Dugong at the Sydney Aquarium called “Pig”. Poor little dude was washed up as a baby and they helped him recover but when they tried to release him back into the wild he struggled and ended up washed up again. Now he lives a very happy life in the aquarium and eats a lot of lettuce. He enjoys watching people. He’s best boi.

1:38 It's so weird for me you say this because when i was from pre school until high school I watched the "new episodes"(dub, Japan was like a whole arc ahead) and i remember when the Alabasta Arc Aired on TV i with a group of friends told the wildest one piece Stories and what we heard and we basically had the same conclusion. We were like ,,The One Piece will be Rogers Mantle and a Letter that says now you earned the Mantle of the Pirate King" or just a letter that says "look at your friends and remember your Journey. That's what the One Piece is" . One Guy in our school swore that the father of someone he knows works on One Piece and he told him the One Piece is Rogers Pirate Hat 😂 I won't spoil but since the Anime passed the 1000 Episode Mark and the Manga Approaches the Final Saga the possibilities of what the One Piece is only get wilder. Oda said that the Final Arc which he'll begin working on after his 1mo break will be the grandest of them all and once you'll reach the start of the final saga in more than 900 episodes you'll understand how much "the grandest arc" makes me hyped.
