If you want wide adoption for Ace Studio, then please create a much more detailed tutorial explaining the EXACT relationship between the written lyrics, phonemes, pre-consonants and post-consonants. If you change the lyrics, the phonemes auto populate (almost always incorrectly) and the pitch structure redraws even if the pitch structure is exactly how I want it! It's actually much easier to just use phonemes to create the song, but then a verse like "every thought" inexplicably becomes "authoritarian". It feels as like I'm fighting this tool constantly see-sawing back and forth between getting my verse right, changing the phonemes then changing the verse again. Need a better tutorial.

Manually edited phonemes have the highest priority, so once you manually input a phoneme, the actual pronunciation of that note will not change regardless of the lyrics. If the phoneme has never been modified and only the lyrics are edited, then the software will automatically match the phonemes to the lyrics according to the CMU Dictionary; any modification to the lyrics will cause the phoneme on the note to be rematched. Generally, this does not lead to widespread errors, but when you input polysyllabic words, since each note can only carry one syllable, multiple syllables will be automatically split onto subsequent notes, so extra care is needed to consider the scope of effect. For your situation, we suggest that you only modify the phonemes and not the lyrics, as this is less likely to cause confusion.

Please consider making the list of phonemes previewable. It would be great if each one functions like a button, so by clicking on any of them, they will give an audible preview of exactly what it sounds like. Also, it will be a tremendous help if each virtual artist in the Premade Voices list can quickly be previewed to get a quick idea of what any particular voice sounds like.

Also can we use Ace Studio for Tuning and correcting things like vibrato on non AI vocals? I think this would be a very dope feature compared to traditional pitch correction software like Melodyne and Auto-tune. Thanks

Have been trying out the software for a couple of days now. Getting decent results when the voice is singing words but long sustained notes like "OOOO" and "ah" sound very thin and mechanical. They are not usable in their current state. You need much clearer instructions for entering words over several syllables. I have OOO over 5 notes that have a slur over them but the program did not import the lyrics correctly from the midi file. Hope I can get it to work as this could be very useful for creating rehearsal tracks for my choir singers.

The email I just sent SUPPORT:- "My next task is to remove the extra ( small, dark orange ) boxes created from the import of the audio of me singing imperfectly. First attempt is - when I delete one -- the bright orange box ( that I want to keep) next to it deletes too. :( And when I shorten a box I want the remaining boxes to the right to shift left to compensate? Where in the manual does it describe that ? " . For me -- this video does not answer these questions . Maybe I missed something?

How do you zoom in on the midi notes on the edit window to type the lyrics? Thanks

I just got an email response from SUPPORT on this. Use the CTRL key + mouse wheel when positioned in a box.

What does "miss-aligned from the middle because of missing sustained notes " mean ? And please dont ONLY give a shortcut key when there is a more intuitive menu or alternative . I wont be using ACE frequently enuf to remember shortcut keys. Its not clear what a box with a hyphen in it does. Without hearing the difference made by each edit here --- I really cant get why it needs to be done and what I can get out of it ?

How can you spread one syllable - the word "rare" - over two separate notes on two different pitches, please? Both notes are crotchets (quarter notes) and the second is a tone higher than the first.
@TheFatPriest9 ай бұрын
Got it. Create a minim/half note, apply the monosyllable to it, then use the note cutter at the half way point and change the pitch of the "tenuto" second crochet/eighth note. It was a case of RTFM.

My very first word in the lyrics is "caught" but it sounds like "cart". The phonemes are "[k] [aa] [t]" but I don't see any way of it sounding right?! I'm expecting /kɔːt/ but this doesn't seem supported?
@ACE-Studio9 ай бұрын
Maybe try "[k] [ao] [t]"? The phonemes are automatically matched to the lyrics according to CMU Dictionary and sometimes it seems incorrect. So when you find "caught" sounds weird, you could try some other words with an "aught" and pick a phoneme that sounds better. I just got "[ao]" from "taught ([t] [ao] [t])" and it sounds fine.

ACE, this is miraculous software! i've only been on it a few hours, but getting good results. Phonemes; it took me a long time to figure out you have to press 'enter' after editing. You need to include this in instructions. i had the word, 'father.' It sounded 'fahder.' then I found the word, 'with' and the 'th' had phoneme 'dh.' but if I edited without pressing enter (return) it said, 'invalid phoneme' so all need to know; press return!

Hi and thanks for this great tutorial. Is it possible to edit french lyrics with Ace Studio ? If not, does Ace Studio plan to add the french language soon ?
@ACE-Studio10 ай бұрын
I'm sorry that the AI singer is currently unable to perform in French. Training an AI singer to learn a new language requires recording and annotating a large amount of training data in that language, so the process is relatively slow. But we are continuously making progress! Before we officially launch French vocal synthesis, you can try using the acappella convert feature to transform French song audio into a lyric-equipped MIDI file, which the AI will sing using similar English pronunciations as substitutes. Although these pronunciations won't be accurate, it might be a temporary solution if you need one urgently.
@theduddy6710 ай бұрын
@@ACE-Studio Thank you very much for the detailed answer. 🙂 I can't wait to hear how the French vocal synthesis sounds like. Meanwhile, I'll take your advice and try the acappella convert feature to see what happens.

Como posso produzir músicas no estilo português do Brasil ? ou clonando vozes de cantores brasileiros.?
@ACE-Studio11 ай бұрын
Increasing the number of languages available for singing requires a significant amount of vocal data in that particular language for model training. This allows the model to understand how lyrics in that language should be pronounced. It is a relatively lengthy process. However, we are actively working to expand the range of supported languages for singing. If we disregard language and focus solely on vocal tone or singing style, it becomes much easier. We are planning to introduce a new service that will allow users to clone their own voices for AI singing.

It sure looks like it's capable of doing some really cool things, but it is extremely difficult to learn how to use it. I've been trying to get one line to sound right for about 3 hours and I'm about to cancel my trial. This is so frustrating.

ACE is fine for soft generic vocals, but for powerful rock vocals, you're still going to have to rely on a real singer.
