*haha, I came here looking for precisely the sound of "last living souls" and finally found it, it's great that more people have noticed this sound, I thought it came from the roland cr-78. Greetings.*

Hey hey, Could you punt this unit in a 19inch rack mount? Thanks
@jetpackman0110 жыл бұрын
This sounds a lot like the Garageband drum kits. Of course, it's much better to be able to customize your drum beats in the program than to be restrained by presets, but it's still interesting to hear what it was sampled from.

I disagree, in this day and age working within limitation expresses skill but also the punchy sound of the actual hardware unit has a mojo that no software can emulate. Put a guy on stage in a bar with one of these and a guitar and he will get more attention crowd cheering then a guy using a laptop for his beats i guarantee you.

I've got one…admittedly much noisier than that one…but you missed the best feature…which is of course that you can jam multiple pattern buttons down (like on the old organs) and get some different beats...
@SynthManiaDotCom10 жыл бұрын
I know. I've discovered that "best feature" in 1984, when I bought a used Farfisa Matador LR that had preset rhythm buttons. And I combined two rhythms from this very machine in my song "Magic Frog" (that you can find on my channel). But for this video I wanted to do a clean demo with only the single rhythms.

Good…:-) If you have time check out my stupid song website…its a bit work in progress but every week I post a stupid song that I performed using junk instruments such as the above mentioned drum machine, organs, Casios, etc…and recorded to tape. There are almost 30 totally free songs on there just from this year. www.tapesuey.com

And then you run the whole thing through a digital delay and get some REALLY wild patterns. I've had mine for about 20 years and I love it. It's got groove.

damn didnt know you could do that, gonna try it on mine tonight. always love running this drum machine thru some pedals tho
