The w30 is the og of Lep lights to me. There is brighter stuff these days but I love the overall design and the metal switch. And it still performs well in 2023, it's just really hard to get, collectors are paying lots of money for one these days

In a previous video you said the Thrunite Tn12 is what you considered as the perfect self defense/practical edc light. Do you still have that opinion? I've been using the pokelit aa gray edition for edc and as a defensive light. I carry it bezel up in my pocket and I find that the easiest way for me to get it. I find the bezel up carry option as mandatory for me. Thats why I love the pokelit. I was wondering if your opinion on the best defensive edc light changed? And if it did does that light have a bezel up carry option

The Thrunite has a bezel up option as well. I still consider the Thrunite to be just about the perfect light. It has an instant access to firefly mode - instant to low-med-or high depending how you set it - and instant to turbo. That is pretty incredible for a light to offer all that. That being said, I am finding i dont need firefly unless i am next to my bed, and for that reason I am looking elsewhere for my "PErfect light" I am doing a video on the 5 potential "Perfect lights" that i carry so keep a lookout for that video. Will be published in about a week or so. CHeers mate

I love the W30…I’m not a hunter or any kind of tactical anything, but this is fun for impressing friends. And even if only for that purpose, you can’t put a price on being the guy with the cool stuff. 🍻

The Acebeam W30/W50, Maxtoch L2Kd/L3K/LA60/OwleyesWPro, Weltool W4/W4Pro/W5, these are all in a class of their own, well over 2.5 kilometer to 4 kilometer throw... They're awesome search and rescue lights. You can spot anything from atop a ridge on down. They don't drown out the foreground like other LED throwers and certainly don't attract attention (or distraction) with their near zero spill. They're not for everyday use, of course. They have their niche, but they're unbeatable at that niche. Love the review!

I think the red light may have sold me. Those acebeam bezels are mean. Imagine how easily that could break a nose or cheekbone, or possibly rib if you hit someone in the side. It's for breaking "glass" though. Have to remind myself.
