Guide on How To Find All Enemy Aces in Ace Combat 7

This video will show you how to find every enemy Ace and what is the best strategy to shooting them down. Each enemy ace shot down will yield a bonus paint scheme and extra points will be added to your score. After all of them are shot down, you will get the 'Birds of Prey' achievement and will unlock the special paint scheme of the X-02S Strike Wyvern.

The best way to wipe all oil facilities in Mission 8 is equip and use the SFFS bomb. Aim for the gas tanks as much as you can. I used the Su-34 to get it. On Ace difficulty too!

@@ServantBerserkerZero Most every "oil" target will chain explode to to everything around it. I've found the easiest way to complete it is with 4AGM (the 8s are tricky as you tend to waste missiles). The multi target bombs on the F-22 and SOD on the F-35 are pretty good too.

For Mission 3, I would recommend using the F-14 with LAAM. Cleared the first wave less than 30 seconds.

I used the YF-23 with HVAA. They have insane range and speed so unless they are turning it basically a guaranteed sniper kill. Not very good for closer up though so I used normie missiles for that. Got it with 15 sec left to spare.

Brotip: for the mission at 7:30 get the LACM. Besides the large explosive range, the LACM is a ground-hugger and can fly above terrain automatically as long as it's not too steep.

The only significant difference in game tho is the LACM’s huge blast range and the LASM’s nonexistent small ass circle of a blast range

Watch closely or in replay slow motion and you'll see the explosion blasting straight up from the deck. So. Frigging. Cool.

Close..Except that Top Gun's MiG simulators were actually A-4 Skyhawks, (as flown by JESTER & VIPER) and black-painted F-5's for the 'real' ones..NOT an actual MiG-29 Fulcrum. But, yeah..it's still a nice little nod to Jester & Top Gun anyway! 'Jester' in a real MiG.. And with Top-Gun 2 on the way, who knows what new characters will make their debut..to later show up in AC8!?

@@leodavis4242 G'day Leo, If it's JESTER in the MiG-29 Lastoshka/Fulcrum (in Mission 2) that your having trouble with, it's because your looking in the wrong place.. And the Migs in the airspace over the base, are just 'extra gifts' for you..but they have no bearing on Jester's appearance. You can engage, or ignore them, as you see fit, or as your skills detirmine, to keep a few off your back..but they are insignificant here. Jester starts off on the GROUND, after you destroy the base! Provided you've met the requirements. Just destroy all the games white targets, (along with all the red TGT radar vehicles, except for the very last TGT radar vehicle, nearest the base control tower).. Then, once your ready, (you must be quick here, its the only challenging part of the mission, because all these high value targets only last about 20secs or so)..and if you don't get them all, you don't get another chance..so, when ready, then destroy it too! A minor cut scene will display juicy new targets at the base! Now, QUICKLY Destroy the Control Tower, and all 3 C-17 Globemaster transports on the ground! (WARNING, one of the C-17's has a Helios warhead in it, that detonates when you destroy the C-17..don't be too close to them ( like a gun run, for example) when you kill them, stand off as best you can, and use missiles..just know you dont have much time to be fussy with your approaches either.. I recall you only get approx 5 secs per target or so.. The cut scene with the container drones launching WILL interupt you, and all base/ground targets then disappear..(including the migs, if i remember correctly) except JESTER, taxiing out, to come up and meet you.. He's taxiing out of a shelter, just a bit behind the base's main hangers, where you just destroyed the 3 C-17 Globemasters..the one with the Helios warhead in it. You can't miss him, if your watching your radar right after the cut scene finishes, (and BEFORE you go chasing any of the container drones!)..just ignore them completely until you get JESTER. He's literally the only other speck on your radar at that point..as i mentioned, ALL other ground targets dissapear entirely then. And if your quick, you can even nail him on the ground, before he even gets fully airborne..if you just want the bonus, without the fight.. Now you know! Enjoy owning him mate, however you choose to do it.. See you back on the flightline, nugget. Oh, and a bit of trivia for you, re: the MiG-29. The Russians originally named it 'Lastoshka' which means 'little Swallow' after the small, swift little birds..that have a huge tendency to shit all over everything! The Nato designations, (like Fulcrum, Hind, Foxbat etc)..are simply assigned by computer.

Pierce God yeah. I’ve been through the regret of going on easy mode. I believe I tried to get the Su-57 Ace and forgot I was on easy mode, (and then I didn’t try to go back for it for some reason). And I think I made the same mistake of going on easy mode and trying to get the MiG-29A Fulcrum Ace. Also, I got the Axeman Ace by mistake. Same with the Su-37 Terminator Serpent.

few flaws with this video so here is a better explanation for people who want to get all the ace skins if you got them to spawn another way please list it down below Mission 1 is correct Mission 2 is slightly wrong you have to destroy all the TGT control tower at least that is how he spawned for me Mission 3 correct just keep a level head and if he does not appear just start over and try again Mission 4 Correct if you want a more in-depth as to who shot mother goose 1 down try only using machine guns to keep the UAVs off of him Mission 5 is correct at least to how i got him to pop up Mission 6 correct super easy to fly in the tunnel also if you did not know you can cross the return line just an fyi even the story says it's not for you lol Mission 7 is correct Mission 8 very wrong you just take out all OIL FACILITIES Mission 9 Correct Mission 10 correct and wrong but when he says you can't let the transport get damaged that is wrong damage is irreverent at least it was for me all you have to do is take the sams down very fast mission 11 planes 1 and 2 correct hint go for the closer base then swing wide out and fly through the platforms shooting the cores you get both of them at the same time as well as if any planes take off just chase them down and shoot them mission 12 planes 1 2 and 3 correct just fly under one of the guns and he should pop out,A10's spawn kinda far out just take them out while they are out of range and last just make sure you get everything make bombers and ground targets first then take fighters out while next wave of ground runners and bombers come Mission 13 correct this one is hard equip missiles with long range tracking and get a very fast plane at least this was the case for me mission 14 correct fly fast and get to the base just keep the pedal to the metal and dodge the spot lights Mission 15 for planes 1 and 2 correct it is covered in sams and turrets that shoot down your missiles so you may have to make multiple passes also if you want a special skin that is not an ace take down the Su-30 with only standard missiles not special Mission 16 correct Mission 17 correct Mission 18 correct and wrong take everything out ON THE WAY TO THE CASTLE not everything after you get to the castle at least this is how i got him to spawn Mission 19 for planes 1 and 2 Correct there you have it hope this helps some people out with how to get them all good luck again if you found another way to get them to spawn post down below

For Calamity in mission 19, as soon as you hit 17,000 fly due east of the space elevator/lighthouse and it'll be there. That negates the need for long range weapons/flirting with the danger of going outside the mission zone.

Heard people are struggling on some aces and here is a tip on what jet is recommended to use on the mission Mission 1:any jets that has 6aam or 8aam or 4aam Mission 2:any Mission 3:I recommend using a fast jet with qaam with flight distance,longer lock on and homing part equipped Mission 4:any jet will work Mission 5:any also not really that hard to get ur jet to be damaged just fly slow and let the ai jet or the bomber to damage you Mission 6:any jet will also work Mission 7:any jets will work but do not use any air to ground missiles u don’t want it to hit the tgt targets Mission 8:I recommend using jets that has pulse laser or the a10 or any jet that has air to ground missiles(ship missiles also note u don’t need to destroy everything just destroy the oil tanks) Mission 9:any fast jet cause u want to be as fast as u can as soon as u destroy a non Tgt that is on top of the clouds quickly fly down so u don’t get hit by the missile Mission 10:any jet will work just keep an eye out on the sams site Mission 11: any jets will also works too Mission 12:use jets that has 6aam,4aam or 8aam cause u don’t want to damage Stonehenge also u need to fly below it and get the a10 spawn too Mission 13:use a fast jet!it is super recommended on this mission if u don’t fly fast enough the icbm missile will fly away and u will fail and the ace will not spawn if u restart! Mission 14: either get a very fast aircraft or just any aircraft will work Mission 15:don’t really involve in anything Mission 16: any aircraft Mission 17: any aircraft will work too but I recommend using a jet with 6aam or 4aam or 8aam Mission 18: use a fast jet with either lagm or pulse laser and down all targets and arrive to the castle as fast as u can also shoot down mihaly too Mission 19:any aircraft that can easily take down the arsenal bird Well that’s all for every aces and I wish everyone can hunt down all the aces easily and get the mihaly skin for the x02

Just a correction here, you do not need to down ALL the mig 21's in order to spawn JESTER, you only need to destroy all the red ground targets before engaging the migs.

You can find Calamity in mission 19 early enough if you fly to the clouds in the south part of the map. Once you spawn him with 17000 points, he'll fly through the heavy clouds, which makes locking onto him pretty difficult. I suppose if you waited too long, he'll fly away and wait for you at the border of the map.

For mission 11 I recommend using the SU-57’s Pulse lasers while flying through the marine platforms while destroying them to lure out Chasseur and Ibis at the same time

On Mission 11, the Rafale can actually be summoned more easily by taking out the supports of the rig instead of picking out the aircraft on the rig one by one, because then it takes out the planes as well.

Also for Calamity, after you kill Tempest.. Head to the south part of the map as fast as you can.. You can caught up Calamity before he reached the red line. I use parts for acceleration and speed, and i caught him not far from the border.

For fleet destruction, to get the Rafale ace to spawn, I used the Su-57 and its pulse lasers to sweep the entire platform. Just slow down to just above stall speed and use your rudders to sweep from one end to the other. And it actually spawned to the east, not the west for me

Just a heads up. Calamity does appear inside the area of operations. Once you hit 17,000 points. Immediate chop to the shouth and he'll be inside the border (if you have the microwave radar special part it makes him stand out like a sore thumb). You dont have to bother with shooting him down outside the map unless you wait around after you hit 17,000

Thanks for the guide. Read on Steam that you need to score 10k points before doing the mass driver run in mission 17. Also, the time limit for the Berkut ace to show up is 3 minutes. I managed to get to the base in less than 2 with the A-10, so my guess is that, as long as you can reach waypoint 2 in less than 1 minute, you're almos guaranteed to spawn the ace without flying at mach 2 through that canyon XD

The last ace calamity actually spawns in the map but he tries escaping directly south, however unlike other aces who leave he sticks around just outside of the area border meaning you can take as long as you want to kill him

Thanks for this vid, it helped a lot with the few I was having trouble with, finally got the last Aces a couple hours ago, now just want to get the remaining skins. There is one correction I noticed, on mission 19 Calamity doesn’t spawn off map anymore, I think they patched it, he spawns further southeast of the tower than Tempest does, can see him fading in and out of view on the radar. Also there are a couple times when standard controls make things much easier, like in mission 14 flying through the canyon at high speeds is so much easier with standard controls(tried it a few times with standard and expert to compare). In mission 8 after trying a bunch of different approaches the best one(for me at least) was strafing with machine guns at low altitude and standard controls makes it easier, then I cleaned up the last few with multi-target ground bombs(surprisingly I ended up destroying every ground target with this method, not just the oil tanks). Just use the parts to increase machine gun power and concentration. I had to restart from the checkpoint after the Arsenal Bird loses its shield in mission 19 and the Ace kills still counted. Can anyone confirm if that holds true for other missions? Like if you kill an Ace and then trigger a checkpoint after the kill, restarting from the checkpoint after the Ace kill doesn’t take it away? Hoping to see a Hard S Rank guide from you. That’s my next goal

Ace 16: just the real silos not all, it saves a LOT of time and for hard the locations change (bottom half paragraph for It) (the real ones are the 1st one Infront of your spawn, 2nd middle of the map, 3rd, 4th, and 5th are the 3 at the top of the map) there in a pattern is like a backwards 7 just the 3rd one before the corner is fake. Hard: If playing on hard the location change, the ones that didn't change are the start and end of the backwards 7 (spawn silo and the top right one) the new ones are the 3 shaped like a triangle on the left above the spawn silo. So you r pattern for the best time would be spawn, middle, bottom left, one above the bottom left them the top right

Move from the left most side(mission start) to the right most side where the first 2 fighters spawn in. (stick closer to the border area and be loose, meaning dont stay right next to the transport) Thats what i did and took me 2 tries, i will say there is kind of a hint if you did it right when there is a long silence. Mission 8: used the Mig 21 with the mounted machine guns in tandem with regular, all gun upgrade parts, especially the auto-tracking one. Slow down and sweep side to side using the rudders. 💥💥💥💥💥 It’s efficient AND you can still dodge missles, unlike in the A 10 Thunderbolt.

Best way to shoot him down: PLSL with the Su-57. The best weapon to take on aircraft in this game. You can reach targets up to 5 km away.

Small note about Gazelle (Pipeline Destruction). You only need to destroy the oil facilities (oil tanks, facilities, chimneys, and tanker ships) before the storm rolls in. You can ignore the AA and SAMs. Figured I'd let you guys know.

Also make sure you take out all radar towers on the way to the air strip then once at the air strip the minute the control tower is targetable destroy it ASAP, then when the drone cut scene plays look down to the runway coming out of one of the hangers will be jester

Mission 3 update - this has changed and needs to be done in less than 80 seconds now (+18:40 remaining). I personally found it a lot easier to use the F-14D with LAAM

For Mission 3 F-16, just take a Mig-31 Foxhound with LRAAM (Long-Range Air-to-Air Missile), I one hit each of the targets from far away with plenty of time to spare, whereas I had to try over and over using the Su-57 pulse lasers.

Finally got the achievement for taking down all aces. Did it on Ace difficulty too. Started several months ago and slowly worked my way through. Only had trouble getting Comet to spawn. Only took me so long because I was mostly playing other games instead lol. I'm so glad to be free of such a constraint finally lol. Last thing on my list is S rank in all missions.

F2A Bogen: Remember you need to allow your ground forces to push far enough for AEGIS ASHORE to appear. One time I focus too much on fleets and aircrafts so my ground forces didn't push forward before time ends. I'm not sure if you can destroy it without being lit up (such as by using MGs or other non-lock-on weapons).

Was playing recently; for mission 3 I think they banned the use pulse laser munition entirely for the ace to show up. What I did for it was the 4AAM on the X-02 and used dumb luck for the most part. It may take a several tries but you’ll get it eventually.

Correction for the Su-57 Calamity: Once you reach the score of 17000 said in the video he will appear, however the location of his appearance is in the South East quadrant of the map. You have to go there immediately after you reach the score or else he will go to the edge making him harder to kill.

It would be more interesting if these "aces" actually put up more of a fight, like the members of Sol Squadron. Instead you can destroy most of them in just 2 missile hits like any normal enemy plane, and many of them when they spawn will try to flee the area rather than engage the player in combat.

You need at least an F-22A or Su-57 with light blisk, cutting-edge airbrakes (it helps with high g turns) and variable cycle engines, without these three parts its borderline impossible.

Gtab an F-15C and upgrade the parts for top speed (you'll go 32-3400km/h) and make sure your standard missiles are upgraded for range

I used Mig-31B, standard missile reload and lock-on range upgrade. Chase the ace plane first, then full speed to the IRBM. Leave for the next big boy immediately after you have fired 4 missiles at it, no need to chase after it any further.
