​@@Paperstressed It went great! You just need to buy the right screen, and some double-sided tape. I had never changed a screen before, and I still found it simple.

@@ianismajoris roughly how much for the screen? also, did you have to buy the exact screen model of the old one?

@@zilytra I paid 68€ for the screen + 25€ shipping + 19€ tax, so roughly 113€ total (shipping from UK to Belgium) The exact laptop I have the AN515-44-R25C. The screen I bought is for the AN515-44-R5FT. I bought it on eBay, from "laptopukparts". As long as you get the right size, resolution and refresh rate, you should be fine. Just look up some pictures of the model that corresponds to the screen you're buying and make sure it looks similar to yours. I hope that answers your question 🙂

Hi. My screen flickers when I move it around. It needs to be in a specific positions in order to show the content on the screen. When it flickers it turns black but you can see the backlight, so the screen has power. Does the screen need to be replaced or should I just check the wiring?

Mine started to flicker too, at the top of the screen horizontally. Then the mouse halts often too. I will check the LCD EDP cable first. That the connections are not loose. Then maybe clean it. Then if it is not helping I will replace the cable. Only after that I will buy a new screen if the cable was not the issue. Is this a good plan?
