I got i5HX + RTX 4050 in US for 860$ includes tax and thermals are so good. Initially i bought Asus TUF A16 and due to backlight bleeding and overheating returned the laptop next day and got this one on the same day. In this laptop, when i play GTA 5 and other old games, temp never gone more than 75 degree Celsius. Whereas ASUS went above 90 sometimes. So its worth for the money and hope it lasts 5 years

I got the Acer Nitro, amazing machine. Runs everythingg on max settings, dual screen, no problem. But one weekness is there, since mine has the same keyboard: Buy a Bluetooth gamer Keyboard - this model of keyboard with that lightning is crap. Half a year of gaming and the keys used the most loose all over and even break in the middle since that plastic is wearing down super fast.

How’s your experience After a few months? I got this laptop 2 months ago and the only thing that concerns me are temps. Cpu is sitting between 55/70 c on idle, and it can reach 100 while gaming. @@beneficialhistory I managed to Keep it on 80/85 c by using turbo mode, which is very very noisy, but That’s it. I also noticed something very strange; the cpu reaches 95/96 c in some games, only if I lock the framerate manually, which doesn’t make sense at all. Why my cpu reaches 75/80 c max if the fps are over 90/100, but becomes so hot if I lock it at 60? Should be the opposite. acer stated that even 100 c is a normal temperature and didn’t help me further. Btw I’m not having any thermal throttling so far

@@potatoguy0593 Sure, for me personally I experienced a lot of software issues, mainly related to Realtek audio drivers and BIOS updates. The keyboard is great, but overall design I'm not a huge fan of because it has quite a lot of flashing lights right in front of you which do distract you when watching a movie etc. I went with the Acer Predator Helios 16 which I'm very happy with.

gaming laptops usually have that amount of battery life only.you should lower resolution, refresh and use it in igpu mode for better battery ( u might be able to get 5-6 hrs backup). otherwise, ask for replacement or go to service centre.

First of all, it's my friends' laptop. I asked him about the battery life, he said you can expect up to 4-5hours of battery doing moderate work. You can expect up to 6-7 hours of battery life on a very light workload. I'll say this laptop is a good choice for you if your budget is between 1.2-1.3 lakhs [$1450-1600]. It has great specs that are excellent for gaming, and the display is perfect. Con's (which I feel) -Speaker and webcam quality are not good. -The CPU fans produce a loud sound on Turbo Mode which can be quite annoying.
