It’s a shame they put a plastic frame around the display. Looks a bit cheap. Still not sure if I should go for the Matebook 14 or the Acer Swift 3. I really like the keyboard of the Matebook and the 3:2 screen.

Yeah of course. All these are different category laptops. Swift 3 is thin and light, Flex 5 is 2-in-1, and Aspire 5 is a more traditional upgrade friendly laptop

I got this laptop just yesterday the Intel version for $562 almost $300 off it was a steal but any reason why it would be this cheap through the third party seller I got it through? Everything checks out I ran the SNID contacted Amazon and even the seller but why is such a high end specs on a laptop this cheap? Can’t help but be curious cause I can’t find that great of a deal for that model anywhere even through acers own website.

Its primarily a gaming laptop, but yes you can do software development. If you get the one with NVidia GPU, then you can also do CUDA based AI programming

that’s what’s holding me back as well. an i7 makes a lot more sense paired with 16gigs of ram, but laptops that have that combo are a lot more pricey :/

I went with the 1Tb amd version, the website says its got 8gb ram but a max of 16gb installable ram, does this mean i can add another 8 myself or thag u could have gotten it with 16gb to start with ( they didnt have a 16gb version )
