The real problem with this Acer Swift Go 14 is the price - I just checked my country’s local Acer store and Amazon (where the only model available on both seems to be the OLED one)….and the price ranges between 1200 and 1500 Euros (in usd that’s between $1300 and 1630). Not convenient when you can get similarly-specced “premium” laptops from other brands for less than 1000-1100 Euros.
@SoulOfTech8 ай бұрын
Yeah the pricing inconsistency is not a great thing, hopefully Acer will re-analyze their pricing. I suspect this machine will go on sale by BTS season if demand does not keep up. Thanks for watching as always!

The non- oled version here in India after all card discounts here in India is nearly $1075-$1080 Also I exchanged my old laptop for 70$ So this laptop costed me $1006
@PlatinAviation5 ай бұрын
Hmm exactly the other way around for me... the Acer with OLED goes for 999€ with 16GB and 1100€ on sale with 32GB. In my area it’s kinda the cheapest ''premium'' laptop
@LucienSabre5 ай бұрын
@@PlatinAviation Have you checked if that’s the actual price or a promotional one? If it’s the second, I’d run to get the laptop before the promo ends.

@4:50. I'm wondering where do you get those information and how many people really had issues because of the upward exhaust? Costco has this in stock (the 16" 32Gb Intel 185H version) and I'm highly tempted to go for it.
@swift147278 ай бұрын
I have the version with 32GB LPDDR5X RAM and OLED screen and I love it, it performs very nicely, I think you can install another M.2 NVMe SSD( just below the fans and beneath the daughter cable), I don't mind the old looks of it but very excited with the new CPU i7-155H, anyway, very nice detailed review, thanks 👍👍

@@vito3266chip with H in the end are not good for "business only" laptop coz the battery life drain faster. Basically this kind of laptops are good for gaming or rendering. If you want a laptop that has a long battery life or for business only, then choose a chip with an Y or U at the end of it H = high performance Y = ultra low power consumption U = low consumption

Does the air vent below the screen through hot air at the screwn at heavy use??Is it a concern for long term use? Does that degrade the screen quality over time?

Hi, I just purchased this laptop with touch display. I have observed that the lower part of display near the Acer logo has a flex that is visible clearly. Do I have to worry about this? Please reply
@oscarcorrea14535 ай бұрын
I guess you should worry a little. Flex cables should be inside the laptop chassis, so if it is visible but outside the chassis, you should return it

What is the ARC GPU in this laptop? Because I saw a lot of variant such as 7 series, 5 series and 3 series
@yasendrungov69156 ай бұрын
In short about the new Intel Core Ultra laptop chips: There are Core Ultra 9,7 and 5, corresponding to i-9, i-7, i-5 (no 3 models). Within them there are faster chips ending in H, like this one Core Ultra 155H, and ending in U. The upgraded GPU comes with all H chips in 9,7 and 5. The U models don't have it, and they are a little weaker overall.
