kinda wild that jhope is literally switching languages each line and it still rhymes. J-hope been telling us since 2013 about J.Cole.. so he composed the music and let’s his idol spits 32 bars, that’s how much respect he got for him. Why he was dancing during Cole's verse is because j-hope before BTS used to dance to J.Cole songs back in the day.

If you don’t already know this isn’t the first western artist/rapper that JHOPE or BTS has collabed with, they have done many western artist collaborations both as a group and solo. *JHope has been dancing since he was ten years old even won a few dance competitions before being discovered as a hiphop street dancer for past years, which is where the phrase “Hope on the Street” was created; if my memory serves me correctly.* In my opinion, J-Hope could be talking about the world in general when he says “us” but he is mainly talking about the fans and rest of his brothers #BTS. This is his temporary farewell MV before he completes solo projects then enlists into the military until 2025 followed by SUGA & RM with the rest of the members when they are done with their solo projects along with JIMIN, V and JK solo debuts sometime this year.

Jhope has always loved J Cole, hence his stage name Jhope. And Hobi's first mixtape is called Hope World, which comes from Cole World. All of the rappers in BTS love J Cole too, and adapted his Born Sinner into their Born Singer! I hope you will react to that one too. By the way, this collab came about from their first meeting at Lollapalooza last year, where they were both headliners. J-HOPE’s HOPE WORLD inspiration came from COLE WORLD, HOBI is fan of Cole that has danced to allot of his music growing up. They do film this throughout New York city neighborhood in Brookyln or Manhattan from the looks of it the more I look at it. My mother is from Rochester, NY but I cannot say im super confident enough to say I know New York like the back of my hand.

It's shot in lower Manhattan. That's the Manhattan Bridge in the background, the subway station Hobi exits is the Bowery stop on the J, line (you can transfer for the Z- JZ ?), the street in the opening shots is Cortlandt Alley in (the consensus is it's where J Cole shot his Simba MV), the building supply company is around the corner on Walker Street. The rooftop is probably on the Brooklyn side of the bridge.
