If ur playing for the first time ever like i am i recommend playing at .75x speed its rlly easy to go along with and when u switch back to the original speed, u already know the rhythm and notes so its much easier to play

And yes, cut time is kind of hard for some people but after a while of playing your part, you get the hang of it and it gets easier for you with enough dedication, practice and willing to take the time to get it right.
