I remember playing this march in middle school. For the first half of the season, I played first clarinet then halfway through the season our school got a bass clarinet and I had to learn the music in two weeks for competition. Good times...

That's fantastic! 🎉 Playing bass clarinet on a UIL piece is a great opportunity, and it's wonderful that you're enjoying it so much. What specifically do you love about this piece? Is it a particular melody, the overall mood, or perhaps the challenge it presents? Your enthusiasm is contagious-keep making beautiful music on that bass clarinet! 🎶😊
@tr0nshad0w42 Жыл бұрын
@@TheBandMan Thank you so much! And one thing I absolutely love about this piece is that it's like a bouncy, uplift march and I enjoy all the different components (I don't know how to describe fully to my best), but it's really amazing!

playing this at honor band 6th grade too 😞
@spinzkingz54074 жыл бұрын
I played this at Honor Band too. I was in 8th grade, and we only rehearsed this song and a couple of other songs for a few hours before performing for the public. Too bad I didn’t sound that great to be honest 😂. If we had like a few days of rehearsals with this song, I think we could’ve done a lot better, but still we didn’t do too bad in the end.

ugh I’m so happy that the trombones have a good part in this song. Also I’m the only one on trombone 3 in this song and I feel special. edit: we had a chair test and i got 3/7 so now i’m first part, but it’s ok i like first part :)
