I didn't, but since they didn't get to grade 5 they couldn't track our tiny ship in the fog, which let us make a clean get away.

@AceTheOcarinaMaker I'm still confused. You were in the fog, the music suddenly changed, and a white ring of light burst out across the waves centered on your ship, and it looked like you immediately went under.

Oh that. That is because we chose to dive to location for the voyage we put down. It gets rid of all loot except emissary flags and storage crates but it allows us to change to a new server. We needed to get far enough away from the Galleon for it to activate and the fog let us do that.
