while i agree, i think glastrier’s massive defensive advantage more than outweighs the two immunities, especially since they’re really good in both defensive stats. the spectrier team was getting incredibly lucky with all the misses and full paralysis, and yet glastrier still won

Ive played a lot of metronome battles with my friend and weve decided to ban ghost types as they are usually the reason why the person wins. But yeah glastrier is nice and tanky which does help just as much as ghost in some cases.

Looking at pictures I thought I preferred Spectrier but my gf wanted that one so I got Glastrier. And I'm so glad I did because I think it's super cool. I love how asymmetrical it's face is! I do much prefer the ghost typing though.

Spectrier is indeed the better choice for me! Glastrier would be nice if it actually had a decent defensive typing, but for some reason Game Freak likes to make Ice types bulky despite the fact they are better suited as fast glass cannons. The best Ice-type in the game is basically the best Water-type :P

Shadow force is actually Giratina's exclusive move. I believe the move you're thinking of is Phantom Force. It's basically Shadow Force but a bit weaker and learned by way more Pokemon

Both are good but Glastrier is just much better. Spectrier could perhaps appeal to a playthrough only player more as its fast and hits hard. But when you realise the only *decent* special moves it gets besides Shadow Ball is Mud Shot, Dark Pulse and Hyper Beam 😬😬😬. Yeah this thing just ain’t it. Meanwhile Glastrier gets Close Combat, High Horsepower, Smart Strike, Icicle Crash amongst many other vast different powerful coverage moves that lets it take advantage of Dynamax boosts as well as cover its weaknesses well. Both have their uses but I just think Glastrier is a better Pokémon competitively and as an overall team player.
