I know a lot of people complain about the videos not being very frequent but I personally prefer it. It makes the videos a lot more special because they aren't as common.

A lot of people don't notice that my videos these days are a lot longer than in the past. I used to make a lot of 15 - 25 minute videos. But now I go for adventures that keep going. I could have stopped after cooking the conch and made that a video all by itself, but I wanted to keep going and show us using the skin and guts as bait. When we did not catch anything big on the skin and guts, I could not just end the video, so I kept it going and going 😂

I have a tip for you Ace if something is poisonous or venomous: 1. If it bites/stings/you, and you die, it’s venomous. 2. If you bite (into) something and you die, it’s poisonous 😉 So the stonefish is venomous. Because once the stingers are removed, you can perfectly eat it👍🏻

🇯🇲 here! Next time make the festivals thinner 😂 glad you liked it though. We have it with the fish at the same time. We do have serve it with a drizzle so to speak, the magical trio. It’s basically a pickled recipe… to a jar add sliced onion and carrots, a few pimento seeds, some type of hot pepper (not pepper sauce like actual peppers, we use scotch bonnet) and fill with white vinegar. Marinate for at least one hour, you can save the rest in the fridge. We love our festival with fried parrot and snapper fish, 100% recommend trying fried parrot fish next time

The blue fish with the dots is a small yellowtail damselfish, they can get pretty naughty as they grow up. They can be territorial. The larger blue gray fish was possibly a purple tang or a powder blue tang. They are both aquarium fish. Loved seeing the banded coral shrimp you saw was really neat.
@lizzieslittlechannel8 ай бұрын
That damsel is actually a jeweled damsel. And the tang is an Atlantic blue tang, both tangs you listed don’t live in the Caribbean.

Close, but incorrect. The damselfish is most likely a jewel or blue spotted damselfish, which will turn grey/black as it grows older. The tang is an Atlantic blue tang.

Love watching you and your dad, your relationship reminds me of my relationships with my four grown children. Anyway Ace, you really screwed up that Conch!!! My wife is from the islands and she laughed at how you got the snail out of the shell. She kept saying, oh no!!! Lol!!! And when you broke that concrete block over the Conch, we both laughed our ass off!!! I guess when she was a young girl she said they boiled the whole shell and after it died it was easy to get it out with a wire hook. She also laughed at how much edible parts of the snail you cut and used for bait. Well, you didn’t know so it was a learning experience for you… We really enjoy all of your videos Ace, so please keep them coming.

Ok so for everyone wondering why no fish eat the barbershop shrimp. Its because the shrimp cleans fish and all pther organisms (can even clean you if you let it) so they don’t eat it because free cleaning is better than i tiny bit of food.
