Fantastic sound! You just sold me on this model! I am a beginner and my personality type is I don't want to be trading up in the future. I would like something that is versatile and will grow with me for the foreseeable future. I think the XE-20 is it!

In reference to a comment: The Y brand has no 1/4-inch L/R audio out (only headphone out), and the speaker wattage is 6W...XE 20 is 18W, and it has L/R 1/4-inch outs, along with the headphone out. It also has a 1/8" stereo jack for input...you can hook up a small monitor to this thing and use it for small gigs without having to bring a speaker system. I own this keyboard, gig with it at least twice a week. It's awesome.

I am very surprised that the KORG XE-20 does not have quick access to the selected sound - no numeric keypad - and also that the name of the currently used sound is not displayed if you do not press SHIFT and UPPER1 (2, 3) at the same time. Instead, the inscription German Piano or Italian Piano is displayed - it is not known why. This is a very big minus, I do not know who invented it. This makes it difficult or even impossible to change sounds while playing live (admittedly, you can upload sound to the banks earlier, but this does not solve the problem). Or is it possible to connect the XE-20 to an external monitor to display this data?

Can anyone tell me what the purpose of the lower button is for beside upper1 ? I just don't understand what it's for it doesn't seem to matter if it's on or off.

I have recently bought one and it's not bad. It has pros and cons but I have realize that a white key, I think it's central A sounds very poor compared with the other ones. Also two black ones in the low part of the keyboard sound with a strange prolongued resonance. I think this is not normal especially the central A key. Has someone noticed the same please? In this video all keys seem to sound OK. I don't know if its only mine problem.

Hi 🤪👍 just saw this =. Fabulous drums as usual = out beating. Yamaha as yam have still not got their drum kits sounding all that great “, try changeing kits & they will go horribly wrong = most of time etc ! Cheers
