Here’s a quick guide. Use Fav if you don’t have enough energy. Even though his burst cost isn’t that high, it feels like you need at least 150-160 ER. Kaeya can be a very good option for a melt Gaming IF you have some cons and IF you can keep killing enemies to extend his burst duration. Bennet is basically his best support if you don’t have CR. Xingqui or Yelan can obviously be good hydro supports, but their single target hydro works against his small aoe pyro, that is why I like Kaeya. I don’t have Furina. His BiS artifacts is the crit rate when healed set. He gains full stacks with a single skill useage. You can get away with very little crit rate before the artifact effect takes effect.

As someone who started playing HSR this patch, this next patch is an unconditional win for because I either get Acheron, or I lose the 50/50 and get Jingliu. I have good f2p supports for both instances, it just comes down to who I get. On the matter of LCs, I have enough pulls to hit pity twice, so if I win the 50/50, I’ll throw the rest into her LC banner to either get her sig or hopefully several GNSW since it’s on rate up

Im not sure if I understand you correctly, but that is not how the banners work. The 50/50 is exclusive to their respective banners, meaning you can only get Acheron on her own banner, same with Jingliu. You lose your 50/50s to the standard 5* characters.

Wrong. With E2, whenever it's Acheron's turn, she will gain one slashed dream automatically. So, in one turn, assuming you have her signature LC, she can give herself 3 slashed dreams.

Not if the harmony is sparkle (which is the best one for Acheron), who indirectly gives more stacks by making acheron much faster. Sparkle is actually so broken that it's already worth playing her with E0S1 Acheron + Pela if you can get 200 SPD (with the help of 4pc wind set and DDD if needed). Sparkle does so much by letting acheron build 0 SPD but effectively move at 200 SPD, a ton of crit dmg, some more dmg bonus and atk, and every acheron turn is +2 slashed dreams so you still get Acheron ult pretty fast. All of this makes her a good option even tho you're at 115% instead of 160% output, arguably the best option even in some cases, so having E2 acheron just makes it even crazier.

Mods, find his location, then-don't dox them, don't do that. Then go there, take their pillow right, remove the pillow case, put on a new one that's a bit less comfy and then make sure it's warm. Put a heater under the pillow, integrated into the pillow case, so that the pillow is always warmon both sides. Then take their phone charger, tangle it a little to where it only charges at a specific angle. Then plug that back into the wall in a loose way where it's gonna fall out when they plug their phone in and then they're gonna have to be inconvenienced because their phone won't actually work anymore, it won't charge. The other Lightcones can be much worse, but Acheron is still a good character that can clear endgame content without the limited 5 star Lightcone. That's why the Lightcone is not needed, even if it's much better than the other options. Don't see a problem there.

to clarify a bit: -S1 is HUGE but there are still some options that are very strong like S5 GNSW & other limited 5-star LCs the dmg difference between her S1 & other options is big. and i want to illustrate that , but i don't believe it is "needed" to play the character -- only to maximize her value. My main problem is the lack of a strong consistent f2p option (outside of gnsw), though.

In terms of the LC situation GNSW is one of the rate-ups on her LC banner so if your willing to try you could get it or copies of it if you don't get her signature

I love your measured, unbiased, but still honest tone! Two things I wish you'd included are a showcase with some other light cone options (namely GNSW and then any f2p cone), to actually give an honest showcase, as well as mention that the large numbers you see during her ult are from her overkilling trash mobs, meaning her true damage is still very high but usually less than what you actually see on screen.

I need some advice. Currently my only 5 stars are: dr. Datio, E1 Gepard, Yanqing, Bronya, Welt's light cone, Black Swan, Sparkle, and Jing Yuan. I'm currently trailblaze level 60 and my only level 80 character is Black Swan and idk who to pull next. I really like Acheron, but my only good debuffers are Pela and Black Swan, on top of that I'm in DESPERATE need of a great sustain unit. I know Loucha and Aventurine are coming up, but i don't like Loucha and don't really care for Aventurine. How I'm asking for your opinion: do I try to get Acheron ( I'm on 10 pity with 50/50 ) while her banner is live and then if I lose the 50/50 get Fu Xuan in 2.2, or save until Fu Xuan gets a rerun so i can guarantee her. I also need to take into consideration that I also need Kafka for my Black Swan, Ruan Mei for everyone, and Argenti for me cuz he'smy fav character. What do you think?

As far as I know nothing has been official has been released about Fu Xuan being in 2.2. If going by leaks, please know that leaks are often wrong when predicting future banners, especially for reruns. Its possible that Huo Huo and Argenti will be in 2.2 or even Raun Mei. Lots of time its just guess work. So hope for, but dont count on it. It would suck if you just saved for her in 2.2 only to find out she isnt coming back until 2.4. Luocha for example was one of the 2nd character released, and is only now getting his rerun. Also just just black swan is fine, you dont NEED Kafka. I actually cleared the most recent MoC with Black Swan on one side and Kafka on the other. Obviously they synergize well and she definitely an upgrade, but both are good characters in their own right. I wouldnt worry about only having Black Swan and Pela right now. Eventually you are just going to roll into some other 4 star nihility unit, or losing a 50/50 for Welt. Also some people with the access to the creator server have said that Sparkle is good enough that she essentially can take the spot of one of the nihility characters. Dont expect to roll Acheron and clear MoC 12 as soon as you do. From what I gather, she is a good but not an earth shaking DPS without her lightcone, but becomes that top tier DPS with her light cone. So really the advice is this: Ask yourself 2 questions. How long do you think you can play and enjoy the game without a top tier sustain? If its 2-3 months, sure wait for Fu Xuan. Are you ok with the fantastic looking DPS that might not be top tier if she doesnt have her light cone? Sure go for Acheron, heck you might just consider picking up her Light cone in a few months once she comes back around on a rerun. Do know that as a DPS are more dependent on how much the MoC suits them. I have a Jingliu E0 with her sig lightcone and she has barely seen use in the last MoC due to lack of Ice weak enemies in the later stages, and even in the recent Pure Fiction, an under-invested Herta wearing all my Jingliu's gear out preformed her (though that Pure fiction is basically built for Herta and Himeko). If neither of those seem appealing, ask yourself "what do I think would I get the most enjoyment out of using"? Honestly, its a game, and you should be enjoying it (so feel free to ignore any advice as well). I personally love using Luocha, though I initially rolled on him only because I also felt like I needed a good sustain. His character did nothing for me since i never played Honkai Impact the 3rd. Im not going to say he is a must pull, but that I was surprised how effective he is. He went just made every other team much easier to play, which improved my enjoyment of the game. Not so much because I like him, but he made all the characters I do like so much easier to play. How I approached HSR as a day 1 player has worked for me: Step 1: get 2 good DPS to just help clear content. Step 2: Hoard as many good Supports/Sustains I feel like I have too many options (any support that opens up a new wrinkle in team building like Raun Mei's weakness break are extra desirable for me). Step 3: Grab 1 major DPS from every element and Ignore picking up same element DPS until I can have someone to carry every element. Try to find your own strategy and try to stick to that.

Pela and BS work with Acheron quite well, Gallagher should be a good 4th spot he'll be good enough for sustain, so you can run that and lynx will be free, her and a well built gepard is good combo, you also got sparkle who is Jing's best support rn, you don't really need Ruan Mei since sparkle will already cover your other team and for future characters you can save up for whoever you like, but look out for Jiaoqiu she will be Acheron's best support - Basically you can pull for Acheron if you like - you don't need Kafka unless you wanna run a dot team, - Ruan Mei similarly since you habe Sparkle - If I were you I'd save for HuoHuo over Fu Xuan, she works better with Argenti, then save for Argenti - Gallagher will be good enough for sustain on your Archer on team, Lynx will be a good alternative until you get HuoHuo Your account is well stacked, no worries

Her LC is better than E2, E2 great rn because of the lack of nihility support, but in the future it will lose its value, similar to E2 DHIL, rather have E0 DHIL and Sparkle than E2 DHIL and no Sparkle
