Hello Everyone, we’re back with our sweet little squirrel friend getting his name at last. This video had to go first to finish what we started before we can go on with the smallest horse I’ve ever seen, new baby squirrels, a bat and a lot of new birds that needed help….
Thank you so much for staying with us!
In my personal life - for those of you interested - a lot has happened… A divorce, moving twice (yep, also with all the animals) and much too soon, unexpectedly and suddenly having to say goodbye to the sweetest, wisest and most non judgmental friend I have… my father.
Meanwhile I’ve been going on filming and taking care of a lot of animal friends that were in need of saving. Also some nice egg projects in the incubator as we speak, so it will be a nice new season coming up.
Before you decide to acquire a Japanese squirrel too, please realize that they need a giant aviary, a lot of care and at least an hour playtime daily… also a year after you got them.

I am 😃 You wish is already true 👍 Right now I've been buying feed four puppies that are abandoned in a way that all I could do is feed them. The person who lives across the road from me collects stray dogs , barely feeds them and for almost 12 years I've had to try to deal with all the dogs that no one spends time with. Plus the fact they are starving unless I feed them. Finally I got some help and something is going to get done and be resolved so I'm happy for all the dogs but I'll miss the one rolly polly one I call fat belly boy , these puppies are so cute, they know who loves them, I think animals are mind readers. 😊

Squirrels are so underrated. They are absolutely adorable! When they hide their nuts in the wild, they very often forget where they hid them and then the nuts grow into trees. They literally plant trees for the planet!

You are my soulmate! After my divorce, my 3 roosters (all rescued) noticed the goats would "break in" to the house (okay, I'd leave every door open - so this was not hard) and the roosters would end up in my kitchen, eating the cat food out of the cat's bowl. They wouldn't stay long, and I thought it was funny. They'd be in and out of the house all day long... One rooster, "Gregory Peck", would check out other rooms and he even would hop up a few stairs, before turning around and going back down. About a month goes by, and one morning, I wake up to the crowing of a rooster.... the crow was VERY LOUD and VERY CLOSE. I stumbled out of bed and found Gregory had roosted (slept) overnight on a dresser in my spare bedroom. It wasn't long before I started bringing him at night, because I thought it was too cold for him :) I made a bed for him and he had his own towels as "sheets", which I changed every morning. After three months, Greg wouldn't not go outside in inclement or cold weather.... I'd hold the storm door open, and he'd look outside and then turn away, to hop upstairs. He chilled out all day on a "cot" I made for my cats, in my office. I have pictures of him snoozing next to a curled up, sleeping cat. He'd crow whenever he felt like it, and if I was on the phone with a client, I'd tell them he was in convalescing from an injury in a crate in the next room.... I didn't want people to think I was totally crazy. Meanwhile, he'd be standing on one leg, on my desk, crowing in my face.

That is not crazy at all to me. I have a pet chicken that I rescued from deaths door almost three years ago. She uses the doggy door to come in and out of the house. She sleeps in a big modified bird cage in my living room and she is a better guard dog than the dogs. Lol.

This was absolutely heart melting and adorable. That little squirrel is the cutest thing and he obviously loves you. You did such an amazing job with building his habitat enclosure for play and sleeping, great carpentry skills. All of the music in the video was lovely too. @@K0JEYY It is definitely true! I also believe you should pay attention to how your animals react to a person. Though there can be reasons they react negatively that don't always mean the person is "bad", they have good instincts and it's something to keep in mind if there isn't an obvious reason for their negative reaction. I hope that makes sense.
