I'm glad that you were able to save her life. I'm also glad that you were able to show us how you were able to get the piece that was stuck inside out. I had to clean many of my chicks that I either bought from TSC or hatched on my own, and I always check them every day to make sure they don't develop one. Luckily, I had never seen a case that bad before. I even had to help some of my cousin's chicks when they developed pasty butt. I always wanted to be a large animal veterinarian and especially one that deals with poultry, since it is very hard to find a veterinarian who will treat birds.

Gewoon vergiftigen.

I went back to look at her parents and they didn't have these beautiful 'gemstones'. Will she shed these somehow as she gets older? Thanks for these videos! You show us nature (and nurture) something we never get a chance to see! I've been a sub for many years and continue to be in awe of every one of your videos! Your daughters are beautiful too! Thank you!

Wow I didn't realise that was even possible for a bird to get stuck under the ice like that. Why is there even ice and chicks? Did they have their babies too soon? Don't they usually wait till spring? So sad but at least you were there to make sure it wasn't a total tragedy 🥰🥰🥰 thank you kind Sir for all you do for our feathered friends

Albert the 2nd looks like an Alberta! I’ve kept quails, hens have speckled chests. Great watching though, those two little birds could have easily been someone’s meal. They got to live a full and loving life thanks to you 💕

What a wee miracle…a very sweet little muppet. Watching how they grow so quickly inti beautiful flying wonders is such a pleasure, and I know how proud you are of each one. You can always find a smile of wonderment in me…and I am thankful, as a widow of almost ten months, after sharing 50 years with a wonderful man. I am trying to re-invent myself, and I will get there.🖤🇨🇦
