Hi Craig, I like the FORGET THE GOAL AND ENJOY THE JOURNEY. My Goal is to take more Long Exposures during the day with my 10 stop ND filter. Also to accept that I will sometimes take bad photos as well as good photos. My reward is to enlarge a print that I like and Laminate it. Loved the Green Sigma GIANT telephoto Lens. Thanks Craig. 😊

Would love to see you out with your camera taking shots, like you you did and not advising from your office. I now just scroll through your videos as quick as possible but if this new style continues? I'll just unsubscribe. Is a pity because you were probably one of the best photographers that I've seen on KZbin ☹️

Some of the best you tube photography ‘teachers’ are studio based (AoP, Photographic eye, tin house studios) I agree that Craig was one of the best ‘on location’ photography you tubers, but I still learn and get challenged by his videos. There are plenty of good on location videos around, I think a balance is good. I am not an e6 subscriber, but fully understand his business model, why give away all your knowledge and experience? I wouldn’t - he has a right to monetise his skill and he still gives away useful nuggets for free!

Having attempted to make a photography video for KZbin I can testify that doing one as basic as mine lasting under ten minutes is a day or more of work once you factor in both shoot and edit; for example it takes over twice as long to film yourself taking a photo as it does to take it, so the photo shoot increases in time by a factor of at three. My point is that Craig is a professional educator, it’s how he pays the bills and puts food on the table and I’d pretty much guarantee the income from a location video on KZbin doesn’t bring in two days income. For most people YT is either a net loss or at best a break even exercise.

There is choice so why complain about a freebie ? e6 is available. And yes, surely one of the best on KZbin 👏✅ worth listening to.
