Maliketh is such a badass. With the right RNG of constant 3 destined death slashes, he would be basically invincible. An attack that does both insane damage and absolute defense by flying in the air… and also the best indicator for a parry when you are the player!

What are you talking about, he gets wasted even harder when he has no pillars lol. The only two videos of maliketh losing to 1st phase malenia involve him being outside his arena. The pillars occasionally block his slashes, but it is more than compensated by the survivability they grant him .

Ready to get flamed, but why do you guys (bjorn too) insist on removing half of malikeths rng and mobility by moving him outside his arena?(when these are the two things he needs most.). If having all malikeths fight in his room was too much, then atleast for godfrey and malenia only (his two biggest challengers) , have it be in his room. Yeah , with a high probability he would still die to her second phase, but _atleast give him a chance_ lol. He is programmed to fight on a plane surface, not uneven terrain, which messes up his pathfinding and tracking on his attacks ( the swipe after 24:59 which didn't register because the terrain fucked his attack's hitbox- you can see the attack hit malenia . It would have ended her 1st phase then and there, even if the fight took place in , say placi's arena instead of his own- because its flat) and makes him glitch on certain attacks. And the part about pillars have been done to death, so I'll leave that one. This is just insane- I remember a bjorn vid where he removed malenia's lifesteal against 3 flame chariots, reasoning (wrongly, since it's not lifesteal but heal on hit) that she wont be able to steal life from inanimate chariots. He was absolutely torn apart in the comments. So if even one of malenia's abilities is removed for a flimsy excuse, there is a uproar, but its normal that maliketh with his non existent stats loses his arena, which is absolutely crucial for his survivablity (he is programmed to use airborne moves when he takes high poise damage/status buildup, is near a pillar, and is idle/recovering from a attack. Source: his lua ai script ): the fact that the only 2 vids of phase 1 malenia winning against him involve being outside his arena prove this. Again, I'm not one of those "maliketh stronger than malenia", "why is malenia so broken/ she cheats" guys. I know he would probably have still died to her: but atleast would have a nonzero chance. Hopefully you understand my frustration, when maliketh losing his most core mechanic in nearly every match between main bosses is considered okay .

You know Malenia's clone attack (which is undoubtedly the strongest attack she has that doesn't has any risk) doesn't work outside of her arena. Have you ever seen anyone complain about that?

@@azalea_animation The strongest part of that attack, namely the cyclone beneath her , works perfectly fine outside her arena. And that is only for this modder. Bjorn, nameless ring, chaos silver moon etc all get her attack to work properly. So if that's what we are going with , then instead of giving him pillars, just give him the pillar animations like in the nameless ring vid, and make it so he can cling to any point of air as he pleases. If Malenia gets her clone attack, which has a unique event script that uses npc present below her arena, then maliketh can just get the animations like nameless ring gave him in the gauntlet vid.

@@helljoe3870 the strongest part of that attack is the clones not the cyclone. Hardly any boss ever goes inside the cyclone. And giving maliketh invisible pillers make no sense. If Maliketh is weak outside of his arena it's his own problem. Choosing a neutral flat arena would be the most unbiased decision.

@@azalea_animation If malenia doesn't get her first and second phase ai outside her arena , that's her own problem, not the modder whose purpose is to make thing work. Because malenia is a real person, not a bunch of code that needs to be manipulated by the modders to properly work outside her arena. I'm sure this is what you mean right? Unbiased decision would be giving maliketh invisible pillars outside his arena, or having the fight in his arena: because without it he loses access to his half his mobility/moveset. I''m not even one of those "malenia lost to radahn/she cheated" type guys. I'm just stating a neutral fact: A boss should have access to all their abilities that they posses against the tarnished. But if you can't see past your own bias , then there's no need for a discussion here. Peace.

Regal could have won if it was allowed to heal. Regal cannot heal outside of its arena.

We all know who would win but Maliketh soloing them and destroying Malenia’s first phase with only 5k hp (for the strongest phase) and 80 poise is just insane. These bosses are so lucky Maliketh doesn’t have more.

He can win in his arena but the chance is a lot lower when he doesn't have the pillars to escape, one Waterfowl already does 5K damage which his half of this health.

@@ROCKSTAR3291 Yup, he is weak to physical damage so when he eats a full waterfowl dance he will stagger and die instantly due to his low hp and poise.

After Radahn flies into the sky, his horse will appear underground. Some bosses will see this and react differently. For example, Maliketh will run away.
