How they notice some things and not others is beyond me. Seeing WAR at the beginning, plus other words in the background, while on the other hand not noticing the paper airplane establishing what happens when you fall down one of the pits at the end or how the bluish-white light lines denote screen wrapping and that they could have just walked right to end up left and vice versa.

This reminds me of a text based adventure game I played (you know, like the Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy game. Really old style, before graphics were invented). In it, you could transform items by adding or removing letters (you could only do it if the word actually became a new word, like taking a "pear" and removing the letter "p" to get a severed "ear", or add an "l" to get a "pearl", but you can't remove the "e" because "par" isn't a physical object.) My favorite puzzle/easter-egg was where you had to show a professor a word that was made up of two other words, and it had to be a word he didn't already think of, and he gives you the ability to split such a word in order to do so. You can find a shuttlecock (the thing you bounce around in badminton) and split it into "shuttle" (the wooden bar when weaving thread) and "cock" (a rooster). You can then combine the rooster with the word "ring" (the thing you wear on your finger) and get a "cockring" (described as, "ask your parents.") The professor chokes and throws you out of his office, and you have to find something else. The cockring reaction is just an easter-egg. You can also ask someone who has a homonym converter (which you can use to turn the aformentioned "shuttle" into a bus) to use it on the "cock", and they'll just say "You don't need one of those." A more normal puzzle was when your car broke down (a car which you got by removing a "d" from the word "card") you can remove the "b" from some "garbage" lying on the side of the road and a fully functional "garage" with a mechanic will appear. If you then try to add the "b" back in after he's fixed your car, he'll call the cops for your attempt to murder him and you get a game over. I miss the days when devs would let you go off script.

Editing criticism: really doesn't make sense to put the webcam feed in the upper right hand corner of the screen when, more often than not, the avatar is traveling from left to right. It's not vid-breaking as such but does obscure the avatar at a few points and really could have been avoided.

the way jeremy got that C at that last puzzle was infuriating. he made it way more complicated. Push it down the second hole and then it falls into the middle. I supposed he did eventually get it though just a roundabout way to get there. Looks like an interesting and fun game though.
