protip to the guys (and jack in particular since he seems to be the "housekeeper" of the bunch): CLAW HAMMERS ARE AWESOME! those log spikes take only a single hit to upgrade with the claw hammer, and its just forged iron and wood. you dont even need a book! BUT WAIT! THERE'S MORE! The claw hammer is also a pretty decent tool for mining stone, so there's that if axes are too slow for you

What they (Gavin in particular) said was that he finally bothered to figure out how to do basic shit in the game which made it more enjoyable for Gavin and he was willing to contribute instead of not caring and just hopping around doing nothing. @ Achievement Hunter You can use snowballs as well to make Bottled Water. When ever you come across a winter area, like Ryan did in the first episode. Grab some snow with a shovel. Then just keep it in a chest. It takes one snowball per bottle. Very handy so you don't have to really leave your base just to make water.

Hey Gavin, I learned something when I was playing 7 days, if you don't have a torch, flashlight, flashlight weapon, or a miners helmet, just dig a hole in the wall of a cave and place a campfire in the wall then put some wood or coal in so it gives you light.
