@@piplupcola that's because Stardew isn't the right game for that, nor the right people. Think Jack with BK teaching Skate, Michael or Matt doing Zelda OoT or MJ with Ky. Stardew is a game that realistically requires 20 tabs open and lots of things to balance.

"Skyrimming/Bethesdaing" has many different meanings. I don't think it's a true Bethesda unless you are also button mashing the jump button while making minuscule adjustments in your location and hoping that at some point the game will actually let you jump.

My first instinct was to go around helgen, up towards haemar's shame, steal a horse from the stormcloak camp and go up from the south. Or to haemar's shame because there's usually a hunter on a horse by there and head to ivarstad to get an easier path but take more time. That way you don't have to go all the way to whiterun for a horse. Of course, that could also take too much time

That is impressively oblivious since it's visible on the map, it's one of the most prolific early NPC idle topics, and quest dialogue and objectives directly tell you about it.

totally get BK. I stopped playing for a year after the game autosaved me midair falling down a waterfall that killed me

Quitting over that was poorly thought out, you had a lot of options to survive the fall (such as just quick traveling or ragdolling), even reverting to an older autosave is trivial to do in about a minute even on console.

They have 3 autosaves slots for a reason.

Love this series and great video as always, but I have to be _that guy_ and make a correction lol The New Vegas hardcore mode isn't just 'you need to drink', you need to also eat and sleep, and all healing items heal over time instead of instantly, stuff like that. So having a canteen only makes that _slightly_ easier. The mode is still super difficult.

Not far into the video, but a quick tip for this challenge. Races have different speeds based on height/leg length. The tallest race is the high elf. So a male high elf would have the best chance. Just random stuff I know.

Matt's lost hours of progress? I've potentially lost over 200 hours (with nearly 50% all side quests completed) because of the anniversary update essentially killing all mod support. I haven't started the game back up since the update because I don't want to face the fact that my save might have been completely corrupted. In addition, I haven't gone through and updated my mods because I have mods that either have no more mod support, or mods that have authors who unfortunately passed away.

i made a game on either the ps3 or ps4 with autosave on one time, had about 100ish hours into it. saved the game and quit, then tried to play on that character again, and all the saves were deleted, including the manual saves i created. i don’t use autosave anymore, and it turned me off from playing the game for a long while.

That's actually pretty close to Khajiit naming conventions. Both Argonians and Khajiit usually have a native name and an alternative name or title, which usually has to do with their particular personality, physical characteristics, occupation or skillset. (i.e., "Sugarpaws," "Three-Toes," "Sees-All-Colors," "Goldfang," etc.)

You think that's hard? I made a character with a custom race that made my character unable to regenerate health (resisted fire attacks by +50% though) and defeated a frost dragon at level 1 using a weak bow and tons of weak arrows I found along the way. (I used like 500+ arrows the fight took a long while.
