future tip for players trying this. you can get elemental blast (highest dps spell) for free aswell as 15+ other spells for free by going to hobs fall cave which is west from winterhold. towards the end there is a "ancient tome chest" containing ALOT of the new spells from the AE edition and can get you VERY overpowered early. also those familiar with the alteration to 100 strat, you can use unbound storms found in the ancient tome chest and teleport cross map while using it and instantly max out destruction! hope this helps. also great vid as always bro! i love mage routes so i enjoyed this one alot!

I hate how new content is integrated into Skyrim. No chance of actually purchasing or finding them as loot, just go to this 1 specific and only random location to get all the new things. No organic integration whatsoever.

This one in particular always bothered me. It would have been easy to just put them in generic leveled lists. Having them all in one chest, from apprentice to master all overloading you at once, is just not good design.

you can skip the college of winterhold nonsense, run straight to septimus' post and pickpocket the attunement sphere from him.

You you can just go to him at any point and he will give the quest to get the elder scroll, it's the blood collection that requires a level.

You should do 100 days challenges for each build and trying to not die in each one. For example, having a 100 days 2 handed build without dying (which you’ve kind of already done), or doing a sword and shield build without dying video. I love the content thus far 🖤

You can completely skip the conversation about fighting the 1st dragon by running to the watch tower straight after giving the dragon stone tablet, as soon as you get half way to the watchtower you get the quest reward and it starts the quest where you fight the dragon.

If you do the Riften fishing quest, you will eventually need to fight a Horker with a Life Drain effect. The Horker ate a ring that gives the player the Vampire's Life Drain spell without being a vampire.

You can cure dieseases cheap with garlic bread. All you need is Garlic, Butter, and Bread. You can take/steal garlic and bread all over Skyrim. For butter, you need the golden hills plantation. Furnish it. Then you can churn the milk to butter next to the cooking pot inside.

You mentioned you wanna try out some mods and others already emphazised to try Legends of the Dragonborn for the collector run for example. Did you also think about doing a 100 days video for complete mod lists? Nolvus will publish its Version 6 Update (December 2024) and Lorerim its 3.0 update pretty soon (Q1 2025).

42:30 I had this same experience… then I realized the lock was harder to pick due to it being cold outside since it was night. The colder you are on survival, the more difficult a lock is it to pick.

Destruction Magic in Skyrim is laughably bad at first, due to ponderous design decisions like making magicka regenerate at an agonizingly slow rate, but then it only gets worse as it gets quickly outclassed by enchanting. I hate how they butchered magic in this game.
