Very little info but an early newage lp for sure. Obscure release on the Real label. Link to the entire thing on youtube.

Looks like you have an awesome copy! The female choir is really haunting in places, gives me the Wicker Man vibe. Thanks for the shout out! :)

Right, very true about Wicker Man. I'm good with the choir though I think its a little too present throughout the entirety. Overall I clearly dig, very immersive.

It's funny you mentioned Billy R. Couvson. It got a spotlight in the Paul Major book, Feel The Music. I searched his name on KZbin a few years ago & found that he would do these peculiar livestreams with nonsensical music, dead live air & weird video effects. 😂 Kind of interesting. This was a lovely listen when I've streamed it a while ago. I might hope on the reissue if I ever see it.

I better dig up my copy of Feel The Music cause I clearly didn't read it close enough. Billy sounds amazing. Children of One is certainly an lp that's hard to pick a single moment. Definitely immersive and pretty deep.

Sweet I started showing so much of that stuff but have also moved into other genres quite extensively. But more to come for sure.

Similar in spirit to parts of the christ tree lp..maybe a bit more artful and secular..I am big fan of this one..there is a much better description in the second edition..the main guy Leonard Lonergan was a painter as well as a musician he later did another lp called the universe is not for sale with hannibal marvin peterson that is also very interesting with some great musicians on it..not an expensive record either..a nmds special 😀. He also did an all winds classical/folk lp I have with two other members of one called windfall..also very obscure..much love chris

Ha, leave it to you to dig up the few other records that were associated. Really aint much though. That Windfall I'll have to stream, could be a sleeper. I briefly checked out that one with Hannibal Marvin Peterson but forgot to mention it. Certainly looks interesting. I dig this one for sure, always looking for more records of this ilk.

I generally like this kind of thing, maybe not enough to pay a lot, I've been looking at prices for Magic Carpet (1972) but even the 90's reissue is a bit steep.

That's a great call there Mark, with Magic Carpet. Would love to find that one as well.

Peaceful, sparse, spiritual definitely describes it but I found this one to be very hard to dance to Dom. I may have to give it a pass.

haha yeah, there will be no dancing to this one. Maybe in your dreams as you nod off in a blissful state.
