I guess it never really struck me as to how many light loads get hauled on most freight trucks. Here in Alberta, Canada we are legal at just over 87,000 lbs. gross weight. I was farmer hauling my own grain and regularly legally scaled 60,000 lb. loads. I enjoy your videos. Keep up the good work!

Interesting about that shop not having the oil for the rears. In my dad's shop, it was he and I that worked there and we kept a 25 or 30 gallon barrel on wheels all the time and would never consider putting oil drained into a pan back into the housing.

I watch your posts with great interest. I live in Sydney Australia where we share the road with every variety of truck and driver. What is the length of your trailer and the overall length of your combination? The speed limit for cars here is 110 kph or about 70mph in your terms. Trucks are limited to 100kph or 60mph. What are the limits in the US? The speed difference here add some complications but we have a big problem with trucks exceeding the limits by excessive amounts resulting in horrifying crashes involving trucks and cars that I don't see in your videos.

I'm always a little envious of those gas prices, 1 US gallon is about $6.35 US here in England. Diesel is more expensive than that. And yes its all tax! Used to be even worse a few years ago, almost €10 dollars per US gallon.

I can't understand that they even consider putting old oil back into a vehicle after a repair. As soon as you drain oil it will get contaminated. The price of new oil is marginal compared to a trashed differential (or whatever you got fixed) including the standstill.
