here's a quick summary - 1) Normal rain: Average ph of the rain is 6 (slightly acidic due to the rain water combining with carbon dioxide to produce weak acid : carbonic acid) 2)Chemicals present in acid rain and their effect on ph.: HNO3 and H2SO4 are the major chemicals responsible for acidic rain. They can even lower the ph of rain to 3(which means increasing acidity of rain a thousand times) 3) How is HNO3 produced ? - Due to high temperature dioxygen and dinitrogen react : N2+O2= NO - NO+O2=NO2 - NO2+H2O=HNO3 4) How is H2SO4 produced? - Plants fulfill their sulphur requirements through K2SO4 present in soil. Millions of years later, we obtain this sulphur in form of fossil fuels. -S+O2=SO2 -SO2+O2=SO3 - SO3+H20=H2SO4 5) How is acid rain harmful to organisms? Enzymes function at specific conditions of ph. When Ph increases, these enzymes vital for growth of organism are not able to function

After a long day of work, Kanye West goes to his Kanye Nest to take his Kanye Rest. He wakes up feeling his Kanye Best. Then he’ll get Kanye Dressed on his Kanye Vest to go on a Kanye Quest. He goes to church and becomes Kanye Blessed, then to a hotel room to be a Kanye Guest. Then to school to take his Kanye Test. He forgot to brush his teeth. Did he run out of Kanye Crest? His neighbour stole it, what a Kanye Pest.

How does the Hydrogren replace other metal ions and push them further into the ground? I’m assuming that it is done because they are both positively charged, but I’m unsure
@fuseschool
@fuseschool 4 жыл бұрын
Yes, both +ve charged. The large number of H+ ions take the place of M++ ions in the clay particles in the soil pushing them deeper so unavailable for the plants.

The Tap water is Good to drink than the Bottled Water.Only thing the Germs and Dirts,Salty particles has to be filtered and boiled to use as Drinking water.The Hot & Cold Dispenser with RO System can be implemented to have a healthy life without Knee and Joint Pains,Gas formation in Intestine.

has acid rain occurred in any part of the world and is it documented
@fuseschool
@fuseschool 6 жыл бұрын
Yes. Normal rain has a pH of about 5.6. Anything less than 5.6 is considered acid rain. The pH of rain is measured everywhere. E.g. Parts of Eastern Europe and Scandinavia have a pH between 4.3 and 4.5. E.g. USA and Canada range from 4.2 to 4.6. Acid rain erodes stone and metal buildings - lots of ancient (and culturally important) stone buildings and statues have been damaged by acid rain. It also affects soil health and can make lakes and water courses acidic. This can (and has) killed whole ecosystems in lakes. Acid rain has damaged train tracks in Poland so that trains can only travel on them at low speeds. These are just a few examples - google will provide you with many more.
