So I haven't seen anyone point this out in the comments yet, but the actor who plays the old man in this, Nick Lucas, also played Matt Berry's dad in his earlier sitcom Snuff Box. There are a couple other nods to Snuff Box in this video as well. A snippet of the soundtrack plays when he's building the robot, and it was actually in Snuff Box that Matt Berry first released a demo for Take my Hand.

I hopped on the Matt Berry train recently via What We Do in the Shadows and I discovered "Toast" just last night on Netflix. I was instantly taken by the GORGEOUS intro to the theme song.
