Yo mi G has no one never told you that ackee don't wash , when you wash ackee whatever tree that ackee come from all the fruit next time will go rotten and this is why no one washes ackee , and take the stem out of the breadfruit before roasting

Fresh Ackee needs to be boiled before adding to saltfish. Tinned ackee has already been cooked.
