To me Maverick 440 is better than Classic 350 anyday 😅. Heck it's also a reliable alternative to the problematic Classic jawa 350 and Yezdi Roadster. Honda is a better quick version of Classic 350. It's in a league of its own. See the Maverick 440 ìs the new age long stroke engine with bigger cubic capacity,slipper clutch and 6speed gearbox with air+oil cooling to save your legs from extreme heat in Indian traffic conditions. Pricing is also 👍 🤌👌. Speed T4 should get MRF Revz Radial tyres and Fork gators (like Hunter 350) at this price point of 2.17 lakhs . It just feels like they should have priced it at 2lakhs or 2.10 lakhs ex showroom after skimming through so much premium equipment.

In real life if we see Maverick coming on the road. It feels like some imported motorcycle in coming. Means its design road presence is altogether at different level. Its different from crowd.

i agree with Jehan..with this engine tune Triumph should have brought Bonnie like design for competing against bullet/jawa. putting it in Speed chasis is not fair as its lack the identity. that bike would have got a unique identity of urban bike with that engine tune. may be in future.🤞

You buy any bike of 350-400 segment, they all got similar sweet spot of cruising-that’s 80-100kms, What you have to consider is which is more reliable(Honda 350) Gives more mileage (mavrck, cb350, classic 350) More comfortable (hd 440, cb350, mavrick, classic 350, scram 400) More thrill, less mileage(speed 400, Guerilla 450) Thrill, less mileage, more versatile (scram 400, Guerilla 450) Note Guerillas sweet spot can be 100-110 They all fall between 2.4-3.3 on road Tell me which one would you choose ? PoV:- I don’t see t4 anywhere unless it’s priced 2.40 on road

@ m using cb350 as my primary bike, I even had 350rs. I kinda love the bike, the way it handles and no nonsense tech on it. Cruising at 80 is easy. But if you’re looking anything to cruise around 100, maverick/speed is a good deal.

I was planning to buy Mavrick 440. I am owner of Thunderbird and now want to change. I am confused about Meteor 350 vs Maverick 440. Please suggest ? I am looking for city and Outside drive. Looking for better driving position as having a thunderbird.

The Hero is smooth, fast (enough?....) and really omfortable .... but service, the overall choice would be a meteor.... if your experience with RE and thunderbird was well then go on with RE...... the best motorcycle you have is your curent one. The 440 is just starting out. If I were to be in your shoes, I would definelty wait for a year because right now Thunderbird itself is in good position. If you want to buy one in the coming months opt for the RE. To a new young rider who doesn't care about the brand and other stuff definetly opt for the 440.... it maybe a hastle in the beginning but it is smoother and faster than the RE Meteor 350.

Also with all the positives of Mavrick it's better to pick this one over t4.if I had money I would have chosen scrambler 440

I think both the Bikes prices need to be reduced at 1.99 Lakh.............. Compared to Speed 400 future and equipments the T4 is pricier, and compared to Bajaj NS 400Z prices, the Mavrick 440 is also pricier.......

Hero maverick 440 is the better one but guys who are going to purchase it should change useless and expensive engine oil from hero service center. Use motul 7100 15w50, motul 300v 15w50 or liquid molly synthetic engine oil 15w50 or castrol power 1 ultimate 15w50 with 2.5 litres of quantity. It will make it a completely different bike. No vibration, less engine heating issue. You can increase mileage and top speed of this bike. Try it and feel the difference.

Forget about the brand once even triumph has terrible service experience and self start issues gear issues, mavrick you ate getting with discount so price wise and mileage wise it is better to go with mavrick although i dont think its a good comparison though mavrick 440 has long stroke engine you should be comparing it with long stroke engine bikes maybe classic 350 or meteor but speed 400 should be compared with dominar and i will go with dominar, if you wanna own a triumph or hd the reason to that would be just an international brand which is not available to everyone and you will have a different bike.

We compared the Mavricj and the T4 as they fall in the same price bracket and intent (urban roadster), whereas the Dominar is a sporty tourer, but its popularity has diminished a lot.

Don't mistake me, but I think for a little more money, the new 2024 Vitpilen 250 may make more sense. They have now made a grown up motorcycle with a flat seat for easier ingress and egress, good riding posture, bi directional quick shifter etc. I know it's not a chill Roadster, but it'll do the daily commutes with occasional touring. Bajaj have destroyed the image of the Triumph Speed 400 by removing the metallic finish exhaust for the powder coated black exhaust. Why would a manufacturer delete a feature?! Pathetic. It was fine for the T4, not for the 400. Really disappointed.

Triumph looks ugly and low class. I get vibes of caliber and boxer. May be direct visuals are different but someone from 90s can strongly correlate design with caliber. At least they should work on the tail section.
