Good list; I would say you are a little heavy on the sportbikes, but as you are a track and sportbike rider, I'm not surprised. For Triumph, I would go with the Tiger 900 gt (I have one and love it), or you could go with their new Speed 400, such a sweet bike for $5K.
@Wintersdark2 күн бұрын
Nah. The Tiger 900's are good bikes, really good bikes, but they're not stand out in any real way. They're the most utilitarian of Triumphs offerings. I get there is "but that's my bike" bias here, but the speed twin is king of the modern classics, and of the entire genre of bikes across multiple manufacturers - and that's *also* what Triumph is best known for. I mean, is the 900GT even the best of its class? Maybe, but highly debatable. As with the other 900 variants. I have to agree with Yams here, and for the record while I am a Triumph owner, I'm not a speed twin owner.

I would agree 100% with that that line-up except the Triumph pick, which I would swap out for the Street Triple 765 RS! Hold judgement on the Harley though, never been into them, at all. Nothing wrong with Chinese bikes, as long as you're getting the ones where the manufacture didn't choose all the worst parts to produce the cheapest bike possible, even so, with those bikes just swap out all the engine bolts to decent bolts and they will run forever with good maintenance, so yes they can be a good bike if you know how to fix bikes and make the necessary adjustments on components (Take the cheaper bike and put the expensive parts on to get an expensive bike for cheaper). That said, get one that has been made with good parts then they are good bikes, I've seen a lot of decent motorbikes made in China, actually in China, but they have their main 2 motorcycles that everyone seems to use there LOL Also, most of the big brand motorcycles are all made in China now anyway, so no Japanese bikes are being made in Japan, very small percentage. All the products are coming from China's 2 big tycoon motorcycle factories. You can check where you bike is made just by checking the numbers on the frame and parts and trace back where your bike came from, you will be surprised to find most of your bikes aren't from the country you think they are from. One step further, you can literally get a motorcycle designed and made to your own spec entirely if you can get into contact with the right people from China's motorcycle tycoons for cheaper than the price of a BMW S1K, Kawasaki H2 etc. might be something you want to look into Yammie! Design your own bike and get it made to spec
