It amazes me how massive American bookshops are. I always see bookshops on vlogs which are multistorey with massive YA sections and every other section imaginable, and I'm just speechless. Even the comparatively smaller ones... are not small.

I felt like this when I went to Powell's City of Books in Portland. The store takes up an entire city block, its so massive that I didn't even know where to start looking!!

This video made me homesick for Denver! We lived there from 1999-2003 and loved it. We were in the Littleton area near Southwest Plaza mall (where I worked). I use playing cards as my bookmarks. I find they are the perfect size and thickness for me. Every book I shuffle the deck and use a different card. ♠️♥️♣️♦️
