The American Case Management Association is excited to reveal our headlining artist for the 25th Anniversary Concert: Ashley McBryde.
Ashley McBryde, a Grammy award winner, grew up in Arkansas, where she faced discouragement about her dreams of songwriting in Nashville. However, she persevered and gained recognition when Eric Church called her a "whiskey-drinking badass" on stage in 2017. She's been praised as "country music's most exciting new voice" by NPR and compared to Hank Jr. and Miranda Lambert by Rolling Stone.
McBryde is known for her authenticity and honest storytelling, which led to critical acclaim and opening slots for artists like Chris Stapleton, Miranda Lambert, and Eric Church. She developed her musical talents at a young age, and after moving to Nashville in 2007, she played in dive bars and honky-tonks while struggling to be heard.
Her debut album, produced by Jay Joyce, combines rock elements with her emotive country twang. The song "Girl Goin' Nowhere" holds special significance, as it reflects her determination to succeed despite doubters. She's been compared to Bonnie Raitt, Lzzy Hale, and Loretta Lynn for her raw and truthful approach to music.
McBryde's journey from a small Arkansas town to Nashville showcases the essence of country music, and her songs connect with audiences by sharing relatable human experiences. Despite being told she was "going nowhere," she's proven to be a whiskey-drinking badass going everywhere in the world of country music.
