Loved the really vintage cars on the show lately but I'm a muscle car guy and man this one is a looker! I love the colour!

It's a beautiful car - I tried to do the best I could to capture the metalflake, but you'd really have to see it in person. It's pretty dramatic! As always, Justin - thanks for watching! I appreciate it!

"Brilliant"!! The detailing is awesome! (I had a teacher who drove one of these, back in the day. Not this nice though)...

I'm really excited to see this mold set in serious play again - there are so many variants of this car yet to be done, and this level of detail / price point is a great one for multiple models... Thanks for watching!

Great Video! I have a few of the Exact Detail 442's. If I were to gripe about one issue with them, it would be that the tires seem too large. I hope that this is addressed with the final version that Acme releases. Other than that, awesome!

Thanks! These are pretty sweet; the details they build in are amazing. I'm going to measure out those tires; they look pretty accurate, but on a lot of models, the tires are differently sized - it'a ll part of "finessing" the model so that it "reads" like the real thing (I learned that from a couple of designer for a large die cast company). My favorite part on this one is the paint - wow. Thanks for watching!

I thought that was a cutlass

It is; the 442 was a separate nameplate based on the Cutlass. There were some hairy cars built on that body! Thanks for watching.

I wanted the radiant green Olds 442, I bought it, but the gap dimensions are terrible. Three times the dealer exchanged without success. But my very old EXACT DETAIL Olds are perfect. Can´t understand this. I hope the gap dimensions are better. up.picr.de/19065942fv.jpg

Hi, Chris - That's the problem (well, one of the issues, anyway) with working in die cast - the molds get "tired". And, depending on how long the pieces were de-burred (or "tumbled", to remove any rough edges from casting), the gaps can fluctuate from run to run. Hope you can find one that's going to make you happy - they're cool-looking cars, and that's a killer color.
