Hi, thank you for your fantastic videos from th UK. I am having issues with my new P1 it's trying to go in the wrong direection all the time. Is this the issue you had? If so how do I alter the controller settings? Many thanks again Geoff

Go to machine settings and select “load fro file “, use these settings and it will fix it

Hey y'all! As noted everywhere else here, great review. I purchased my Acmer P1 because of it. I'm having the same issue with the machine trying to run in the wrong direction. I clicked on your link below, but it tells me that the file no longer exists. I'm not sure if you might be willing to post it again, or lead me to an alternate location for a fix. I'm really looking forward to getting this machine working, but this one's got me stumped! Thanks in advance! Chris

Thanks for this overview. Do you think that it will be possible to use it on metallic parts to engrave letters and numbers?

Blue lasers cannot engrave metal. You will need a fiber laser in the 1064 nm range. You can mark stainless but that's all with a 450nm machine.

I ordered one of these on 5/19. I am trying to get a tracking on my purchase and nothing is showing and my attempts to get an email from my inquiries have gone unanswered. Can anyone tell me, in general how long it takes to receive your purchase of one of these lasers? Thank you.

When they shipped mine, it took a couple of days for the number to show tracking. Most companies from overseas have that issue. Mine was actually fairly quick.

I started with a TT5.5s then upgraded my laser to 10w , big differences in them ! You started me using mm/s and I was using mm/m big difference there also but the biggest thing I’m learning is setup for multiple runs of the same design. My machine doesn’t have a setup adjuster ( beam ) so I’m trying to make templates for fast repeatability! Can you perhaps talk about that ? By the way mine is auto focusing which makes it nice .

If you are running lightburn, you can enable a low output beam for framing.
