Hi there ! I have just bought myself an Mxr M222 talkbox! The pedal is great really. Im using fl studio 10 for my production. I have a Presonus Usb 96 as my audio interface, and I am trying to figure out how to make my talkbox work! So im at the step where my sound in fl studio is setup to my audio interface sound device, so thats suppose to be ok. My two speakers (krk rokits) are connected to the headphones output on my audio interface. Then, I plus my talkbox input to my Presonus left input (as i saw in your video was the trick if i only had one right output and one left output). Thing is, the sound comes out of the talkbox just fine, but it is my whole computer sound that goes out of the talkbox! I am using a midi controller and a plugin synthetiser as my instrument, but the moment I play a song to jam my talkbox along, the whole song comes back at the talkbox, and also on my speakers too! I really am trying to find out how to configure this all up with the fl studio mixer interface to be able to talkbox only one instrument, via linking this said instrument to a track and then going into the output settings, but Ive tried everything i can think of! I really need some help, such a wonderful product!! Hope you will read this message, thanks for your time! Jay

This may sound like a dumb question but please help. I have a synth, a Banshee (1st version) and a practice amp. I can get my synth to output through the tube or, unmodified, through my amp. What do I need to output the modified sound from the tube/my mouth through my amp? Do I need to mic up the tube? If so, with what? Basically,what's the simplest configuration for 1 synth, 1 banshee and an amp? Do I need to route the banshee as a send effect via a mixer?
@YouAreKimBlix8 жыл бұрын
You need to put up a mic the same way as you would if you're singing, as the sound from the synth is sent through the pedal and the tube to your mouth thus creating the intonation and voice-like features. So in a live setting: 1 synth, 1 banshee, 1 amp, 1 mic and I dunno if you can connect the mic back into the amp, but probably a speaker. For rehearsal purposes I believe just using the synth, banshee and amp by themselves can do the trick :)
