I really wish people would do more research before criticizing others so harshly. Just because something is done a certain way in the US or “the west” does not necessarily mean it is the ONLY correct or effective way if doing something. “Western” medicine and health care is incredibly fallible and quite honestly embarrassing at times. Loan has a boatload of fans due to her amazing technique and results and lots of information can be found about her methods on KZbin, Facebook, and likely many other places on the internet. Google is a real thing that we are all capable of using, no? It is ignorant and weak to verbally crucify someone in the comments section before conducting any research on the topic. I am sure all of the “nurses” and “licensed estheticians” will come and tell me everything they know about Western medicine dermatology practices and how this is SO WRONG when Western medicine has very little to do with this video. This is EASTERN MEDICINE so unless you have actual evidence that this is some sort of torturous malpractice or you have extensive experience in Eastern Medicine dermatology, you sound really ignorant critisizing a video you know very little about.

For those of you complaining/commenting that she doesn't extract everything.... Maybe you don't understand the process she uses....in that I am half Vietnamese and have had this exact procedure done...hopefully I can help you understand...this is not a treatment that is "one and done"....every single one of these clients are seen multiple times over the course of weeks/months....some even go multiple times a week....until their skin is cleared. Over squeezing and irritating the skin can lead to permanent damage...how this is done is in the absolute best interest of the clients she takes care of...it's the ones who over squeeze one area too much that are actually doing it wrong (the goes for Asian skin only...I can't speak for other ethnicities) She's not here to satisfy your OCDesque needs to see an empty hole...you are seeing such a small portion of a very complex multi step procedure...videos are posted of different people at different stages so what she does will vary from client to client...she isn't being sloppy...she isn't not caring...she isn't rushing to make more money or any of the other assumptions you throw out there. If this is something you don't enjoy...then don't subscribe or watch (as she has stated herself) Hopefully this helps some of you....others I know will complain no matter what...but she's the professional here....she knows what she doing. From another fellow youtuber M Miner. I'm tired of you acne police. You whom have never had acne, or had acne treated, or are not professional yourselves and yet you have so much to say. You never even take the time to follow up on the case to see how much better his acne actually gotten with HER HELP! Do you think she sends him home after she extracts the material in his face or that she does not cleanse it after with antibacterial cleanser and perhaps does more. She didn't make him like this. She is helping him through it. It is a PROCESS Like do you seriously think one place is more infected than the other. Do you know that acne, no matter what kind is bacteria (which is natural found on skin) and white blood cells and inflammation.

Dermatologists rarely treat acne in Vietnam, assuming one is available. There are also monetary considerations at play. That's why people often go to spas for management of acne.

Rachael Parker, just FYI it is virtually impossible to extract acne without some bleeding. The worse the acne, the more bleeding you will see. Inflammation causes the release of cytokines, chemicals that cause the surrounding tissue to become fragile. Capillaries in the skin become very fragile so the slightest trauma can cause bleeding.

I live in Thailand. Last year I didn’t meet one of my students until half the semester had gone by. He has cystic acne and a teacher gave him some medicine and cream. He ended in the hospital with neurological issues and couldn’t even walk. He was using a cane for the rest of the semester. He’s fine now.

As someone who battled acne for almost 30 years and still feels the insecurity it left me with, please, if your child has acne, don’t just assume it will go away on its own or that encouraging your child to wash their skin more will help. If you have the resources, please take them to a doctor and get the best treatment you can afford. It’s not just “a few pimples”, it’s their self-esteem and their confidence. Acne usually affects young people whose brains are still developing and dealing with the detrimental effects of uncontrolled acne can weave its way into how they permanently view themselves.

There is a huge problem with antibiotic resistance as well as other causative factors such as fungal acne or environmental factors such as agent orange and it's byproducts. It's more of a issue on their side because of the downloading process there isn't as good there as we have here in the States. Sometimes they get so bogged down loading, it won't go thru when they have longer content. So that's why we see so many short lil ones. LOTS of places can't load ANYTHING over 5 min, so seeing ANY video over 10 min is not only a major score, but a lot less headache for them too. I've noticed a lot of videos are loaded in the early am our time, which is obviously a different time of day there, but kinda makes me wonder if certain times of the day or night are better for them with less problems occurring....hmmm?? 💁 Like for me...its just after 3:30 am CT, they are 11 hrs ahead. So it's late afternoon, a lil after 4:30 pm. Either way, it doesn't matter so much I guess if service stinks. I've seen several channels from Vietnam and other countries in that part of the world, mention internet services aren't always dependable nor do they always have very good service, so that's why we see shorter videos because longer ones bog down n don't load. Wish we could watch longer ones too, but it is what it is. If ya luck out n catch them doing a LIVE shoot...then they can go til they want n sure it's raw footage n you see n hear all sorts of stuff as it's LIVE n not edited like we see, but at least we can watch a longer session. Hope that explains a bit...even though I kinda rambled. Haha!! 😅😄😆😂 Now I need to get to bed...lol...lack of sleep is starting to affect me. Haha haha!!! 😂😂😂 Nighty night!!! 😴💤💤💤🕞🙋

@@numnumkawaii31 I don't think they have access to some of the medicines that exist in the Western world. Also, the practice of dermatology is limited. Many dermatologists don't even treat acne. They refer the patients to a beauty salon for treatment. There is also a cost issue involved.

@@whomarjb She is correct as actually hygiene or the lack thereof has ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to do with whether or not one gets acne and over washing just makes acne worse. Please look up acne facts and treatments before jumping to conclusions n shaming someone who has no control over the situation. His flaking skin shows proof he's over washed and doing so only triggers more oil production because it is primarily a hormone based issue involving the pituitary gland running the show. It does NOT mean those with acne are dirty, eat wrong or have a lack of cleanliness. You can easily find out by looking at ANY reputable site and suggest Mayo Clinic, the Dermatology Association or Dr Sandra Lee's Dr Pimple Popper university series are GREAT resources to learn the facts vs myths in regards to acne.

Doesn’t need antibiotics.. this is local inflammation. Wounds may be heavily colonized but cleaning out the pores will take care of that. If he were febrile or had cellulitis, then yes antibiotics, but I doubt that here. Antibiotics are overused

I LOVE blackhead extraction videos but some of the ones w horrible acne like this give me the heebie jeebies. It just looks so painful!

So many of these have the hair entangled in them and they come out with the pop. Some other videos the pop comes out and the hair stays in the follicle. I may be over thinking this but I’m wondering what the difference is. I can see the Ones that are tangled probably are so entangled that they pull right out and some of the other seem to be stuck in the black part of the blackhead. I can only ask this to my other fellow poppers. My people understand me !!!! 😜

Brenda Loose Google agent orange and a condition called Porphyria cutanea tarda. That's why there are often hairs embedded in the acne. That's why there seems to be so much more facial hair on Vietnamese people.😊

PIMPLEPOTAMUS I had the exact same outcome a month ago. I commented on a different video and said that it was “such a shame” that she had to deal with this and they replied back to me “ Why do you say should she be ashamed?!” I think they knew exactly what they were saying, they were just trying to start an argument. I never experienced cyber bullying until I started watching KZbin. It’s such a shame LOL!!

I know it looks that way , but have you ever seen any of Loans "after" pictures ??? How about Huongs ??? Huong has a 4 part video set of a young man from what appears to be a family with $$ whose Mom brought him to Huong after many many dermatologists visits as she was fed up with no progress. He had skin like a baby's butt after 4 visits !!! Was initially told to expect 10 visits. Same here. Just have to allow time. ✌💜✌

Please before you make a negative comments. This is in Vietnam. They do not have medicine or doctor in the US, Uk, etc. Also some of these clients might not be able to afford medicine. She is trying to do the best she can to help him. Yes sanitation is not good at all. Most of what you watching are from third world countries not developed country where medicine and cost are not outrageous.

Great video. I have a few questions, been wondering for along time, what is the hard capsule-like thing that pops out, why do some of them show up in a row and are you putting any numbing lotion on or are your clients just really brave? I know I can hardly touch a pimple on me if it's inflamed without pain. I know something needs to bw done on your clients, I also see you try and be gentle when squeezing. If anyone knows the answers to my questions I'd appreciate knowing. 😊

Toni Williams The hard capsule thing is a comodone. Google “open and closed comedones” and go from there to learn about how this acne progresses. They show up in a row sometimes because the bacteria that is trapped in the clogged pore breaks down the tissue under the skin and creates a “tunnel” - for lack of a better term - between infected or inflammed pores. As far as the pain management goes, I don’t know and have wondered about this same thing for a long time. I would definitely have to be knocked out to have this treatment done so either some magical pain relief cream is applied or these people are incredibly tough to endure this treatment without anesthetic! 🤷🏼‍♀️

@@KR-tz6hu Thanks for the info, I've been watching these years but really never heard from anyone why they were in a row, I've heard of the comedones, just didn't know what was encapsulated in there, they look either like a piece of rice with butter or a very tiny pearl onion cooked to mush 😆. I'm with you as far as knocking me out if I had the inflamed acne or cystic acne like some of these people do. I'd probably even want to be out if I had just a face full of blackheads where they nick them with a needle. I know the techs are trying to he gentle but I know their faces must feel like 1,000s of fire ants have stung them. I remember either hearing or reading, possibly Dr. Lee, say that before the patient is worked on they put a numbing lotion on them. The reason I asked about the numbing was because I was hoping that as a salon they had a similar product available. Have a great night and thanks again for the info.

Their eyes worst shot and there was no wincing and let's face it this gentleman you would think he would be crying out in pain. I can't imagine the spas are giving anything out but I'm sure they're taking something for the pain or some type of tranquilizer before they come in.

Antibiotics are not routinely used in Vietnam for acne. There is a huge problem with antibiotic resistance as well as other causative factors such as fungal acne or environmental factors such as agent orange and it's byproducts. Google agent orange, chloracne, and the agent orange spill at Da Nang airfield during the Vietnam conflict if you want to know more.🤗

Pat Hurley it is virtually impossible to extract acne without some bleeding. The worse the acne, the more bleeding you will see. Inflammation causes the release of cytokines, chemicals that cause the surrounding tissue to become fragile. Capillaries in the skin become very fragile so the slightest trauma can cause bleeding.

No, she is doing everything wrong. You don't pull scabs off, you don't use a needle that size, and she is casing the pores to get even bigger and not be able to shrink back up. So, even if the redness and scabs go away, he is going to be so very scarred. She is also making it worse by not changing out the pads to wipe the blood with, using her fingers to pop them, and putting that gunk on her gloves. It is highly unsanitary and is a staph infection waiting to happen if he doesn't have one already. She should not be allowed to do this.

Amy Hendrix you’re wrong!! Loan works with many patients who’ve been exposed to Agent Orange. This is probably Chloracne. She’s doing everything 100% correct. Look at her page and you will see before and after pics. She’s changing lives in Vietnam!!! She’s highly educated in this subject and she does work along side of a doctor. Please educate yourself before saying that a top notch esthetician “shouldn’t be allowed to do this”.

Antibiotic resistant acne is prevalent in Vietnam. Also Chloracne is rife due to contamination of the environment and that does not respond to antibiotics

My god I wish this was on his back or somewhere instead of his face because that must be painful annoying and embarrassing to have to deal with everyday. At least if it wasn't visible maybe it wouldn't effect his self esteem as much 😔
